  • I had the same issue at first. You have to use the add an exercise feature and input in data from your HRM.

  • GREAT month EVERYONE!! I am really glad my wife "accidentally" got me into this challenge!! My cal burn for this week was a little over 3300 cals. Not bad since that was a recovery week during my last week of p90X. Yard work and being outside helped A LOT!! Total weight loss for the month was just under 7 pounds at 6.8lbs.…
  • It has been a WHILE... but not for a lack of working hard here!! Putting on a 5K and prepping for a school field trip has been very time consuming. Met the challenge of last week with ease... no worries! I have gotten GREAT at eating under. As for the challenge this week.... I do not have a pedometer, but I can guarantee…
  • Last weeks burn total was 3744. The new weekly challenge will be fun. Hope everyone enjoys the coming week!
  • GREAT job everyone!!! Looks like a amazing start to the month of May. I got to my goal with a fast paced skate last night. I saw LOTS of shots since there were few skaters. Lots of action means lots of cals burned!! I am at 2878 for the week, with a Kenpo X workout still to go. Does the push/crunch mini-challenge count if…
  • Total Cals so far are 1430... thanks hockey!! As for the mini challenge for the eating a meal for 30 minutes.... we shall see!! Gonna try it tomorrow with the kiddos!
  • BTW-- Mini challenge update... 56 mins (391 cals) working out today, so just under, unless you will count the JUNK moving we have to do to get out basement ready for a sump pump installation tomorrow!!
  • Thanks.... I just happened to start up again Friday. It's been 8+ months. It's only 1 or 2 nights a week, depending on who might need me!! It's a fun way to burn!!
  • Getting back on the ice at the right time.... BIG time cal burn!! Thanks for setting this up. Great motivation!!
  • Hello... My name is Darryl and my wife accidentally signed me up for this challenge, however, I am more than willing to participate. I think it will be great to add some "spice" to the new lifestyle my wife and I have begun. Having these weekly goals is GREAT. Thanks for adding me and GO GET'EM EVERYONE!!!
  • Count me in! :-) Love this!! Oooops. I thought this was my page.. but it's actually my husband's! I am jreese5226 requesting to be included!
  • Not a lady... but my wife and I are doing P90X together. We are just about to start phase 3. We DO NOT follow the diet plan provided, we do our own eating healthy foods. My wife did not lose as much weight as I did to start, but she has dropped double digits now and is losing inches like CRAZY!! I think every thing is…
  • I am going to test it out on Tuesday!! But, its nice to see that the cal burn here is pretty accurate. I, too, spend most my walking time searching.... (guess it's good for my fitness, just not my game!)
  • I am in week 6 and notice much of the same. I know I have lost inches in the waist. I am thinking the 6 pack will come. I feel their formation when I flex the abs, but there is a lot of belly fat to fight through right now. Keep pushing!!
  • Trader Joe's Belgian Dark Chocolate.
  • AWESOME job buddy!! I agree... this a life change. Diets don't work... changes do!! Keep up and I can't wait to see you meet your next goal!! BTW-- When I say diets don't work... I mean the trendy diets with all of the limitations. Too much work!! Hope I didn't offend anyone!:frown:
  • Honestly.... THIS SITE!! For a couple of years, my wife and I have TALKED about getting healthy. We knew what we needed to do, we knew what we needed to eat. Finding this site, which makes us accountable, has changed our habits. We aren't on a diet... we are making life changes. THANKS MFP and all of my MFP friends!!…
  • There is an amazing difference... KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
  • I am a bit ahead, starting Phase 2 tomorrow... but I love see that everyone here feels the same after a work out. IT will all start again for me tomorrow morning. Previewing what I am going to be doing scares me to death!! Wish me luck!!
  • My wife and I live by the Weight Watchers Meals in Minutes Cookbook. It has all 3 course broken down into 15, 20, 30 minute meal options. We have not had a bad meal out of it yet.
  • Played hockey in the Philly area growing up. Had a lot of teammate from South Philly... does that count??
  • We use a combo of P90, P90X, Supreme 90, and elliptical. No time for the gym, so we have to do it all at home. The variety keeps us going!
  • I agree with what has been said above.... start off slowly. P90X is pretty intense. Use lighter weights to start, do push up on the knees and so forth. You will be amazed at what you will be able to do as you progress. If you start off going as hard as you think you can, you will have difficulty finishing. I am in my…
  • Home for sure. Like you, I prefer the price!! Also, I am not much on seeing other people going crazy with the weights. I have never wanted to be a guy to bench a house. I just wanted to be strong enough to do what I needed. To me, too much judging takes place at a gym.
  • Good stuff!! I need to have that lesson taught to me! Thanks for watching out for the youth! More importantly great job to your son!! Great will power, then he went to play!!
  • deleted double post
  • Hockey is GREAT!! Played since I was 2. Thanks for the good wishes!! Lots of work ahead!
