Wanted to see what the result was! I'm on week 2 and very interested to hear your story. So *bump*! :)

Walking, cycling and just good ol' changing up my diet! Now I have added running into my workout but that started this week so it doesn't count just yet

WOW!!!! Great job!

I believe the calorie count is way off. Considering I made a vegan quiche WITHOUT any oil and it was 78 calories for an eighth of a slice, not a fourth (!!!!) http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=1877253

Not a sauce, but I tried this and it is amazing!! http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/healthy-appetite-with-ellie-krieger-/salmon-with-sweet-spicy-rub-recipe/index.html

my two cents :) i typically eat about half of my burned calories back. lost 24 pounds in four months. it's also about the QUALITY of the food. 400 calories in fatty foods is a lot different that 400 calories in veggies or fruit.

don't know what i was before ... but i was still wearing my maternity pants end of march, finally fit in size 5 jeans, now i'm in 1's!

I'm sorry you had to go through all that. Try to use her BS as motivation to prove her wrong and that she couldn't keep you down. No matter how hard she tried.

I've deleted a few people. One person would eat really badly, not exercise, claim how hung over they were (yet didn't even log the alcohol calories!), complain about not being able to lose weight (!!!) and constantly asked advice on diet pills. I just got sick of seeing those statuses.

omg my heart goes out to you. i had to have an emergency hysterectomy at 25 ... after my first and only child. and people who KNOW that happened to me still joked about me being pregnant when i was heavier. people just need to shut it!!

congrats!! you should feel super proud! :flowerforyou:

Try juicing! I fell in love with my juicer. There are so many healthy recipes with high nutrition. Or maybe smoothies, or quinoa. The possibilities are endless! :)

WOW!! Your hard work obviously shows! Congrats :flowerforyou:

Oh! And about bacon! hehe Try Morning Farm's. It's obviously not 100% identical to real bacon, but it is pretty dang close! I

I'm "almost" meat free since doing this diet and I LOVE it! I am so impressed by how good the meals can be and how much more veggies are finally going into my diet. Check out this website - the green pea pesto pasta meal is AMAZING!! http://dawnjacksonblatner.com/books/the-flexitarian-diet/

Try to reverse your thinking. I too felt weird for eating more. But after actually following the calorie guidelines on here, I saw results and results don't lie! We need fuel or we'll break down just like a car. Reward yourself for your success! Do something you enjoy- be it getting a hair cut, a few new clothes, go to an…

I made some gluten free, quinoa and mushroom burgers. Definitely hearty and delicious

How/why do you feel you're failing, hun? Do you weigh yourself super frequently? For me, it drove me insane. I got bad about it and was weighing myself several times a day. Totally not healthy and mentally destructive.

Hehe! You are so not getting carried away! When I saw a dip on the scale, I would often put on a super happy song and dance with my kids!

I personally mix it up. If it was a super light exercise day, then I don't eat them back. But if we do one of our 20+ mile bike rides or hikes (anything strenuous) then I eat SOME (about half) of the burned calories back.

The only thing that has ever helped me be consistent is maintaining a good fiber supplement regimen. I started out with taking one tbs daily of Metamucil for a week. Then upgraded to one tbs in the morning, one at night. Seriously - I go everyday now, no problem. No gas, bloating or anything :) Edit : Oh! And be sure to…

I had one (along with a stomach ulcer at the same time). For the cyst, I guess it wasn't crazy big or a threat because they told me that nature could run its course. Which it did and went away. But yes, I would go to the Dr to see what's going on and if there needs to be action taken. Good luck hun!
