I handle carb cravings (I get them like hell with my meds) by eating dried edamame. It fills me up, is low carb and high protein, plus they're so dry I have to drink more water! Also, turkey jerky is heaven sent.

You look eastern European... Polish, perhaps? And I'm Ashkenazi :P

Some sort of Celtic, I'm guessing, kaotik26?

Cute!

Exactly. My job and school involve me not walking around most days. I pretty much stay put. So with limited physical activity (I eat more on the weekends) and me only eating when I'm hungry, I usually end up around 1200, if that.

Not so much "low" as "hysterical crying suicidal panic". Walking involves outside, and when I'm low, I can barely leave bed, let alone go outside, without a panic.

I do yoga! I actually really love it, and the best part is, it's actually a for-credit class at my university! Double win! The meds are for PTSD, so I can't really see myself coming off them anytime soon... with them, I'm finally sleeping through the night/not having flashbacks daily.

Or, you know, just a small person. We do exist. I've been eating like this my entire adult life- only recently gained an excessive amount of weight (20lbs) from my usual 115. Small people require less fuel. It's not that difficult of a concept.

I used to take it, got off of it because it made me suicidal. However, it did lower my metabolism, as Cymbalta is currently doing. Gained 20lbs in two months after a lifetime of being 115lbs. SarahLily, I too am dizzy all the time. I worried I might be pregnant, but it is not that. I eat healthy, I exercise, but I just…

And I'm 5'2, female, and it's physically painful for me to eat over 1500. I lose easily at 1200. Not everyone is you or your body type- and other people have different physical and nutritional needs.

I'm an inch shorter than you, and my ideal is 115 (it is also my pre-medical issues weight). I'm currently at 137.

I keep individually wrapped dark chocolate in the house. If I want it, I have one. Moderation is key!

I'm 5'2, 130lbs, looking to lose some weight and get into better shape! I'm an hourglass

I snack on celery... it's extremely low calorie, but keeps my jaw moving.

You can't target an area of your body to lose fat in- you lose fat at different rates depending on your genetics.

Present and accounted for!

Thanks! It's kicking my butt, but I have some medical issues that make getting my weight down a priority. Main issue is combating that darn sweet tooth!

Nope. Gained a lot of fat. Mind you, though, this is from 11 years old to 20 years old, so it is most likely body shape.

Keys in hand is more likely to hurt you than someone else, at least according to my self defense teacher.

I'm 5'2, was 135lbs, aiming for 115 (though, like you, 120 is easy for me to maintain) am currently 129. I wear a size 4 dress, 30F bra.

I open carry when at home. No one is going to mess with me with my .45 on my hip. At school, I jog in a safe area of a gated community during the day.

Nigiri. Had two pieces of tuna and two pieces of salmon, plus a tuna sushi roll. Good protein, nice and clean. Also made a clean ginger salad.

I'm in!

Same way here- at 115lbs, I was a US size 6. Now at 135, I'm a size 4. I don't know what happened... maybe my body shape changed?

"Curvy" as a synonym for "fat".

Odd... because when my parents got divorced she got NOTHING from my father, even though he's worth an insane amount, and she now is raising my siblings alone on a teaching salary. So no. There is plenty to benefit men in marriage- everything from decreased prices for insurance, locked down inheritance laws, hospital…

I've been dieting since last March so it isn't just the first week... as for the amount of sugar, it's because I eat a lot of fruit, haha. I am kind of limited in my choices since I spend a lot of time in bed (I'm pretty much housebound due to medical issues). My doctor didn't seem too concerned, though, which worries me.
