  • also, if you can eat a big breakfast. I try to get most of my calories in before lunch (now that doesn't ALWAYS happen since I tend to work out in the afternoon sometimes) but yeah eat some protein and breakfast! Apples are great, banana's too but your body wants some yummy meat!
  • I know this will not be a popular opinion and people like to flame people for even mentioning cutting out X Y or Z but. What helped me was I stopped eating any carbs/startch at dinner, No rice, no potatoes, no pasta etc. Instead I eat 2 veggies and a protein. I lost about 8 lbs doing this before I even started working out.…
  • This is exactly what my trainer says. 1 mile = 100 calories, it doesn't matter if you do that in 7 mins running or in 20 min walking, its still just 100 calories. I walk because I have to take 2 and 3 year old with me on them because I am a stay at home mom. I would love to jog, but these knees aren't happy with that yet…
  • Thats AWESOME.. Sadly I am not a big JC penney's or Kohls person.. maybe it's been the years of being a big girl I just never liked shopping at those places because I felt like I could never find stuff. I'm more of a... fashion bug girl lol. But I do love me some old navy.=D I will def look into more stores now that I am…
  • Water also aids in digestion if I am correct.
  • I 100% agree that there is a need for diet soda. I also agree 100% with every in moderation. I had a diet coke the other day while at a restaurant. Why? because I really wanted a soda, but I didn't wanna go over my calories for the day. But that is the first soda of any kind I've had in 2 months I think. I DO NOT agree…
  • When i say muscle weighs more then fat I don't mean that a pound of muscle magically weighs more then 1 lb of fat. I'm not an idiot. lol What I mean is, when you are losing weight, and working out and GAINING muscle you will put weight ON even though you are losing. Because you are gaining much needed muscle (which will…
  • Just to give you an idea of where I am at. I eat 1430 calories a day. I eat my "banked" calories I get from working out. I work out with a trainer for 30 min, mon, wed, fri, We do alot of strength Training and usually fridays are pure cardio. I TRY to walk 5 days a week for at LEAST 2 miles (but am trying to do at least 5,…
  • You took the words outta my mouth!
  • 35 lbs is amazing! Don't sell yourself short hon!
  • It really is awesome!! I HIGHLY recommend it! Hell you could add these "noodles" IN with your pasta and make it even more nummy I'm sure =D
  • If i had the time/energy to make homemade pasta I would def eat it (probably everyday) but I do not. Nothing is better then fresh made from scratch pasta, and no one can convince me otherwise! I just do not have the time to make it. I wish I did!!
  • Stop looking at the scale. Muscle weighs more then fat. Be worried about inches lost, not what your scale is telling you. You will be a much happier person I promise you. =D
  • LOl thanks I didn't realize all i had to do was do lower case img brackets. =p
  • this sounds amazing!
  • I actually use it alot more then I thought I would! I really love this thing! It's AMAZING for shredding cabbage too!
  • Mine little minions are 2 and 3, and we are hitting the "everything is ewwww" phase. So I have to be sneaky =D They used to eat EVERYTHING and I really do try to put my foot down on some things. I wont even lie, there have been nights where babies didn't eat a bite of dinner. Guess what they had for lunch the next day? =p
  • I like spaghetti squash but it never ever gave me the "pasta" feel. the consistency is nothing like pasta. It can be made super yummy and I still buy it and eat it but it never gave me the pasta feel. The zucchini like this does 100%. I LOVE zucchini, I lost making it into pasta, I love cutting it in half and scooping out…
  • ahah I gotcha hon. =D
  • I posted a link in the post. LOL i guess my post was too long.. (it actually isnt long I just put alot of spaces so it wasn't a wall of text)…
  • I gave up pasta because it's too many calories and I can (like I have) find healthier things to eat then a bunch of food that's going to make me hungry in a few hours anyways. I only give up carbs 2 times a week and I probably wont do this forever. It's just to help me dial back my carbs is all. When you spent most of your…
  • LOL if people wanna ***** at me for calling a veggie pasta let them, it feels like spaghetti when I eat and that's good enough for me. Anyways I actually add it at the end when everything else is cooked and only "cook" it until it's warm. So it usually holds up and stays firm. I have had this the next day as left overs and…
  • Eat R E A L food. IE stop eating "low fat, sugar free" non food crap!
  • I definitely can tell you you MUST eat your "banked" cals. I was not eating mine and my weightloss just stopped, and then I had a talk with my trainer and she kept telling me to "eat more" and I was confused. It was because I wasn't eating my calories I was getting from working out. As soon as I started doing that the…
  • Well I don't "eat alot" I still try to limit my carbs of any kind on my "no carb" days, but say that I am super craving carbs, this meal would be something I would make up in lou of you know.. eating pasta lol. I just don't hold bread carbs or even potatoes the same way as I would get carbs from like an apple... if that…
  • I've heard soaking them in water for a while helps.
  • wow soo many people not eating the yolks on the eggs. Such a waste, its probably the healthiest part of the egg. =(
  • I actually eat alot of things when I crave them, but this is really healthy and it worked a hell of alot better then spaghetti squash to curb cravings, especially on my "no carb" days.
  • Is there a reason you are not eating the egg yolks? They are SO good for you. I eat probably 2 dozen eggs a week myself with no regrets! But yeah Everyday usually I eat 2-3 eggs sometimes just sunny side up with a peice of whole grain toast, and on my no carb days I do scrambled with spinach, eggs, sun dried tomatoes and…
