Hi there! I love that idea. :) I've learned that this journey is MUCH more successful when you do it with a group. Good for you and your fellow weight loss journey buddies! :)

Hi! I did insanity twice, so I know what you're feeling. I didn't see any weight loss until the second month of Insanity, and it was minimum. Maybe a lb or 2. However, I DID see muscle definition, and my clothes fit better. Try googling foods that rev your metabolism, this way, you can still eat within your 1500 calories,…

You're absolutely AMAZING!! I had tears in my eyes. I'm especially SO proud and overwhelmed to hear that you did this by diet and exercise. Yes, I read about the surgery to remove the skin, but that's fine. You didn't use surgery as your initial go-to easy way out!! I've come across SO many people who are like 'look at me…

Hi! Adini: "Also: age, how tall are you, how much do you weigh, goal weight, exercise routine?" 30, 5'9", 172-175, goal is 160, and I exercise 4-5 days a week, roughly 45-60 min. And Michelle: thank you! I am checking in with my doc today because I've also been suffering from terrible headaches. I've kept a log and…

HI! I certainly feel your pain. From January through the last week of March it's like the weight was just melting off. I lost a little over 20lbs. Now for over 2 months, even with switching my work out routine, and still eating light, I've been at the SAME weight (give or take a pound or 2 for daily fluctuation). It's like…

HI! I did Zumba, and I saw a dramatic change. I lost roughly 17lbs. It's a great work out that is fun, and you use a lot of your mid section. There is a DVD detected mostly to belly dancing, that mandates you use your abs! ANDDDDD it's fun! The other work out that I'm going currently is Insanity...(not so fun...lol) I…

I intend to! lol...just not at the SAME time. Insanity really takes a lot out of you...its rare i have the energy and the time to do a round of zumba after insanity and then also cook dinner. As soon as these 60 days are over I'm so going back to zumba!

thank you! I'm certainly trying! :)

I can totally relate to that! My husband has lost roughly 30 lbs since January....30 lbs too me about 3 YEARS to loose! It's so much easier for a man! lol

WOW! thanks everyone! I'm overwhelmed by all the responses! :) In response to why I stopped doing Zumba...well long story short I was dieting and working out alone for 2 years. I lost about 15 lbs on my own...but in TWO YEARS. It was a slow and lonely process, with only myself for motivation and support. This January my…

I'm glad to read everyone's posts....i'm 29 and still don't have any kids; but my husband has wanted kids for quite some time now. I've been over weight my whole life, and only now at 29 I am the thinnest I've EVER been...and I want to enjoy it! Is that selfish?! I m FINALLY growing to love myself....and I don't want it to…

Age:29 Height: 5'9" Start weight: 217 (lost 14 before MFP, so technically 203) Goal Weight: 160lbs Current: 175lbs Calories: 1405 (i started at 1200, but i found that once i hit a plateau, if i increase my calories, my body would rev up again and loose pounds!) I work out 5-6 times a week and burn anywhere between 350…

I'm in!.... Do you have a plan/suggestions or is this for us to do on our own?

Struggling with Diabetes is never easy. My husband is a type 2, and between multiple hospitalizations, an infection scare from a tiny scuff on his leg, and weight issues, he has finally smartened up. I've been on MFP for a year now, and he joined in January of this year. Since then, the weight it's taken me a year to loose…
