  • I've finished round 1 of Insanity about a month ago. To be honest, I didn't see much difference either, may it be in pounds or inches. For instance, .5 inch in the waist and 2 lbs loss only. Some say it could be my diet. I ate around 1500-1900 calories (TDEE - 20%) with occasional indulgences, no shakeology (not available…
  • me too! I'm joining! ^^,
  • That's wonderful news! I'm on the 3rd week of Burn Circuit so not much change yet. But I do feel stronger and I can now lift heavier weights compared to when I first started. I'm liking it so far. Scratch that, I wake up excited to do lift weights. Form wise, I'm still working on it. I'm not sure if I'm doing…
  • I'm 6 workouts away from finishing Insanity. What's amazing is that in terms of measurement and weight, I didn't lose much. I mean, I only lost .5 inch on my waist. Scale actually moved up. Sad but true. Anyways, I'm thinking that perhaps I need to incorporate more weight training this time. I plan to do CLX a week…
  • This ^^. I'm 6 workouts away from finishing the program. I gained 2 lbs. Lost .5 inch off my waist. Clothes the same. BUT my body fat % is 29%. Shouldn't I be losing something that's at least a whole number?! (math nerd,LOL). I'm trying not to be disheartened about it but it still sucks. I'm working my *kitten* off and…

  • Ab ripper X. I'm so sore after that. Jillian Michaels said once said that you don't get abs by doing a 100 crunches. Like what h9dlb said, they're made in the kitchen. What you need to focus on is the core. Plank strengthens your core. =)
  • Looking hot!!!! I love that quote "Slow progress is still progress". I have to keep reminding myself this as I'm not seeing dramatic results. I'm on Month 2 Week1 of Insanity. But I keep pushing play and tell myself, "It may not show now physically, but you are getting stronger. Not its time to kick some *kitten*!"LOL.…
  • Hi! I don't really have pics to share but I did Rin30 last yr during my bout of JM vids (I've done almost all except for BR,Yoga and Kickbox). After 30DS, this was a real step up in the game but I enjoyed it. It's tough but changes every week so you're constantly being challenged. I didn't lose much weight (around 1-2 lbs)…
  • Month 2, Day 1! It was gruesome!!! I was literally a drenched lump on the floor after one hour. LOL How do you guys survive this? I had to take so many breaks 'cause my heart felt like it was going to jump out of my body. By the last circuit, I could barely keep my core tight as I was so sore. OMG. Also, do you up your…

  • I had experienced the same thing. Swapped the days due to a group outing. Its okay to do so. You're still on track. Listen to your body. It's all for the long haul. That's what matters.
  • Done with Month 1!!!! Yey! Can't believe that its only been 4 weeks. I'll be starting with recovery week tomorrow then THE MONTH 2. I'm scared and excited at the same time. To those who have done month 2 already, do you have any tips to "survive" it? From the posts I read it was pretty exhausting. Oh and is it okay to the…

  • For week 1 and 2, I tried the nutrition plan (factor is very active), but did not see any results in terms of inches or weight loss. I'm trying TDEE (at Moderately Active) - 20% now. I'll see after 2 weeks if there's any changes, then adjust accordingly.
  • I've only tried 3 brands so far: Note: Prices are more expensive since I'm not from the US. a. ON Whey Gold (Extreme Milk and Double Rich chocolate) = one of the popular ones, thus more expensive (around $49 for 2 lbs). I LOVE the Extreme Milk one. b. Designer Whey Chocolate = tastes good too. I usually mix this with…
  • I'm single so I don't have any wedding dress pics. But cheers to your wonderful weight loss! Keep it up! :drinker:
  • Hi, newbie here! I'm Dhennie and I'm on Day 15 (Fit Test 2). Not really seeing any solid changes. For instance, I only lost a quarter of an inch. Maybe I'm doing something wrong here. I'm following the Nutrition guide, but thinking that the Very Active factor may be too generous for me. I'm thinking of changing it to…
  • Wow, good for you! :flowerforyou: I just had my 2nd measurement today. I lost a quarter of an inch on my waist, hips and thighs. Weight stayed the same. Such small change that its a bit disheartening actually. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
  • Hi, newbie here! Just finished my 2nd fit test today. For the fit test, it improved, uhm, generally speaking... 1. Switch Kicks: 60 63 2. Power Jacks: 41 50 3. Power Knees: 77 97 4. Power Jumps: 26 32 5. Globe Jumps: 10 11 6. Suicide Jumps: 17 18 7. Push-up Jacks: 20 25 8. Low Plank Oblique: 58 66 For the measurements, I…
  • Just finished my 2nd fit test today. Uhm, mine are reaalllyy small changes. I lost .25 inch on my waist, hips and thighs. A quarter of an inch! Uhm, yipee?! LOL Everywhere else is the same. Even the weight is the same. I'm a bit sad about it but I keep telling myself that the results will show at the end of month 2. Right?…

  • At first, I used 3 lb weights (at that time, it was already much, for me LOL). Then when I noticed it was getting easier, I switched to 5 lbs. I think it's better you start light, then progress. ^^, In the DVD, I always thought they used the 3-5 lbs.
  • I'm a morning person because I have to. I commute to work so I have to be up by 5 am. I used to do my workouts after I got home (around 7 or 8 pm), but it was not consistent since I was already so tired. In effect, my weight loss then was not consistent as well. I now wake-up at 4 am and get my early workout done. It takes…
  • Awesome results and great job! I'm on day 8, and well, I don't really see any difference, I'm following the nutrition guide, or at least some of the recipes. So I don't know if that contributes too. But I'm pushing through, hoping that by the end of 2 months, I'll see the results by then. Can I ask, how do you know if…
  • Awesome! I can totally relate to this. Being a breadwinner in my family meant that I had to take care of my family first. It was about a year ago when I decided to change myself. I was nearing 27 then and I thought to myself, "I don't want another year to go by and regret not doing anything to change myself: So I did. IT…
  • 3 hours before going to bed, which makes it around 7 pm. In the Chalean Extreme Motivation DVD, she talked about this. Supposed to help with metabolism (if I remember correctly). I'm doing it coz I dont like the full feeling before sleeping. ^^,
  • I've pretty much rotated among JM vids (except for Yoga meltdown, kickbox and Body revolution). Its okay in the sense that the focus is your core (which is ALWAYS a problem area). After finishing 30DS, I did Ripped in 30 - which has the same system as 30DS but on steroids,LOL. IMO, total body-wise, its more effective. I…
  • Hi! I'm Dhennie and I'll be starting Insanity tomorrow. I'm excited and nervous at the same time! Woot! I've lost around 10 lbs in the span of a year and was stuck. I've done mostly HIIT and JM vids. I feel that to shake things up, I need to something insane! .Would be happy to lose 10 more lbs but main goal is to…
  • Good job! :drinker: 'm starting Insanity tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll get great results like yours too (even just half of it would be awesome)
  • Option 1: Protein powder, 1/2 banana, silk almond. Option 2: Oats, Silk Almond and Protein powder. This can either be cooked (hot chocolate porridge) or refrigerated the night before (cold overnight oats). Option 3: 1 whole wheat bread toast, omelette, coffee. I usually rotate with these 3 options. ^^,
  • May I suggest getting a test instead? =) I recently had mine checked at a hospital. It was around $15 (I don't live in the US). The test showed my BMI, Body Fat, Visceral Fat (fat around the internal organs, I think), Body Fat and RMR. Oh, it also showed the body fat/muscle per body part (arms, leg, trunk and whole body).…
  • Oooh, so many workout programs to choose from. I like working out at home in the am because I know its something that I can consistently do. I'm challenging myself to achieve the results I want. So, I've braved it and decided to try Insanity. I hard such great results from it. I'm committing myself to the 90day…
