get a Brazillian done by a professional. Then, when it grows back, it is so much easier to maintain with a bit of hard wax at home.

Learn to love veggies. You can eat them--the non starchy ones (which includes carrots, potatoes, squash etc.) in mass amounts to keep your mouth busy and not impede your weight loss goals. In fact, the more veggies you eat, the more you will lose. Make cucumbers, tomatoes, greens, onions, mushrooms, eggplants, asparagus,…

Hi. Join me and give up fretting about weight loss and follow the guidelines of Eat To Live. It works. I just had a baby and am following his 6 week reboot plan to shave off the excess weight faster than I did last time. The guidelines are: Fruits for breakfast (3-4 fruits) Enormous salad for lunch topped with your choice…

Fruits have natural vitamins and minerals and antioxidants that you don't get from eating processed sugar. I've also heard it said, "Fruit is nature's way of ensuring you get your fiber." I like fruit, and feel way better when I poop every day. :-) Fruit =It's a good thing.

People who keep the weight off are "learners." People who gain it back are short-sighted "followers," not concerned to learn through the process. It's easy to follow a simple principle (say, 1200 calorie diet) for a time. It will work, weight will come off, but people who do this haven't learned anything in the process…

Yeah those are convenience meals, not very nutrient dense. This has nothing to do with needing meat.

No loose skin or lbs to lose after baby arrives in April. (At least I am doing better not over-gaining this time, thanks to MFP!)

Fortunately through counting calories you learn to eat smarter and get a better feel for what your calorie "budget" looks like to maintain a specific weight. I will probably not always count, but will always weigh myself weekly. This way I can get a head start if I notice a weight trend I don't like, and retool calorie…

how about...don't spend what you don't got?? Change your mindset on gift giving. Give your time to someone. Make a meal or homemade treat for someone special. Write a letter someone has been longing to get and you've been meaning to send. Gifts like these usually have more impact than another new sweater/gadget that has a…

I gave up baking with white flour, white sugar. Have since found new, healthier versions of the same treats (black bean brownies, say) that use NO flour. It's a treat to eat them, do not feel deprived, and the weight I wanted to lose has stayed off. Never going back to "old" ways of baking--not when healthy versions taste…

When you have a slimmer frame, the D's won't look right. B's will be sexier with your new figure. Less can be..more!

Free-range or mass produced, all end up slaughtered, so there are no "happy cows" even on the free range farms. I know that is not what this discussion is about, just pointing it out. Free range still means a life is being taken so you can fill your plate.

Thigh gap mid thigh? Yes. Any gap at the upmost 2 inches? No.

Here are some of my favorite go-to vegetarian blogs: www.lunchboxbunch.com www.ohsheglows.com www.heathfulpursuit.com www.thugkitchen.com (if you can read beyond all the expletives!) Tempeh, Tofu, Nutritional Yeast, Rice, Cashew based sauces--all of these are great chickpea-free protein boosters in vegetarian meals!

Apologize for what? I think she's great! I don't feel "threatened" to have her awesome abs. But as a woman who has had one child and returned to a pretty fit physique (better than my pre pregnancy body with 20.5 BMI) and pregnant with my second, her message is extremely encouraging. Growing up, my (obese...and currently…

Don't believe in cheat days, cheat meal or cheat snack, but never a whole day.

Enjoy your vacation, and take a deep breath and face Monday when it comes. Even give yourself Monday just to adjust to being home, and once you are unpacked, laundry done, mail sorted, and groceries restocked, get back to your routine.
