I'd say about 1000 over maintenance on Christmas day.. I've had a pretty junky week since Tuesday, but I never do weekly splurges, so I will be back to it tomorrow.

Still getting used to it. I've always been bigger than most and gained a ton of weight when I graduated high school. I've been losing weight for almost 3 years. It's only been in the past year I have noticed how much my bodies changing. I picked up a size 10 pants and laughed, thinking I would NEVER fit into that. I took…

Hi, I've been on the pill for 6 years (since I was 16), and initially I noticed some weight gain. In saying that, I was also gaining weight by my own accord. For the past 3 years on my weight loss journey I've noticed that the week I stop taking the pill and get my "period" I lose a significant amount of water weight. When…

I plan to continue using MFP for as long as I am able to. I'm almost at 1000 days logged in in a row.

I'm fairly excited about it :)

People start their weight loss journey thinking at the end of it they will look a certain way... in reality that's not what happens. I have a fair amount of loose skin, and it's the one thing I am really self conscious about. I'm dealing with it slowly. I feel better now though than I did before I started, loose skin and…

I want a snickers bar so bad right now, they're my favourite!!

Change your mindset, and stick to your plans. When I go off track, I look at old photos of myself and my yearly progress report on MFP. Just learn to say NO to things sometimes, just don't deprive yourself of treats. If you literally can't help yourself, only carry around enough money that you need for the day... Log your…

The day before my weight loss journey began... 115kg (253lb)

When I bought a size 10 pants and it fit!! ... but sometimes I think I am bigger than I am still.

I don't think I will weigh EVERYTHING for life, just until I am comfortable knowing my estimates are correct (or close to it)

I can understand the situation of loose skin. I have lost over 100lb, and it's getting to the point where it bothers me a lot more than it used to. It's a bummer knowing that you put in all the had work to lose the weight and look and feel good... then to realize that your body isn't that way you wanted it to look... I…

Yes, of course I do. I have suggested it to my sisters who now use it. I have suggested it to others when they ask how I did it, they honestly don't believe me.

I totally get that. I still haven't made my mind up about maintenance. I have hit all of my goals but still feel uncomfortable within myself and am unsure. They say weight loss is easy, but maintenance is the real challenge. I think we are programmed from the start of our weight loss journey to focus on losing the weight…

Yeah, can totally agree :( I know it's an unhealthy habit to keep too.

I can relate. I am a bit iffy about maintenance at the moment. I've lost almost 50kg, and I've been counting calories for almost 3 years at a deficit. Yeah I've had some pretty bad moments, out of all those years I've only ever had a few months off and a few kgs back on. It feels like it's my life now, but I know…

I've only used quinoa a few times, to either substitute rice in sushi or put into mini quiches :)

I think this will taste awesome, I love cauliflower! Thanks for the recipe

I actually started my weight loss journey for health, seeing as my parents are suffering medically and I don't want to end up that way. Plus I'm a nursing student! I can't advocate health if I'm not healthy. :)

I've been vegetarian since childhood and am transitioning to maintenance slowly. I've lost 103lb :)

I don't think you're eating enough to be honest, and that's why the binges come... I put your numbers in the calculator I use. I eat 1600 (I'm 22, 5'6 and 150lb) a day and am losing slowly. To maintain you should be eating about 2300 calories (I put your exercise as moderate 5 hours a week). Your BMR is 1500, which is the…

I feel like this all the time.. I still feel the same and can't accept sometimes what the mirror says. I'm the lowest weight I have been in my adult life but still look for my old sizing or think lower sizes wont fit.

I drink green tea and water with lemon

I've gone down a cup size since losing weight, the only thing I live in now is push up bras. They're terrible, I wish I could trade them in for a new pair. But hey, it could be worse I guess.

I'm just starting to maintain now after 2 years of calorie deficit... and let me tell you my boobs are suffering! :brokenheart: They're like two sad deflated balloons.. lol. I've gone down a cup size.. I want it to get better!
