I'd say eat them if that's what you want to do and you feel healthy. However, my argument against them would just be... tell me why they are good for you? What are they doing to HELP your body? Do you have Noodles & Co.? Also, privately owned coffee shops often have extremely healthy, delicious, and unique meals (and it's a fun place to hang out if they sell books, magazines, etc.).

I agree! I LOVE wheat pitas... you could stuff them with: hummus and lots of veggies, plus a little olive oil or balsamic dressing :) your favorite salad ingredients (romaine, some shredded low-fat cheese, cucumbers, dressing) Peanut butter! :)

you just need leafy greens like spinach or kale. Also, if you're still eating dairy, then greek yogurt is a GREAT protein source! Congrats on the vegetarian lifestyle! Saving the earth and your health! :)

I went out to lunch, but chose the healthy choise I am going to the Y tonight and running on the treadmill I have taken the stairs as often as I can (rather than the elevators) I'm feeling positive about my life & my health!

There are barely any students there in the morning, and the ones that are aren't there for judging, but for being healthy. It's the 3-7 crowd that tends to be more of a social hour and people who are there just because their friends are there. If you want to workout alone, I'd say get a workout video that you like :)

Head to the campus gym! It was one of my favorite parts about college. You meet a lot of cool people, get involved in some campus events, and get in great shape! I'm a morning person, so I went in the mornings. I made friends with a few professors who worked out in the mornings, so that was helpful! :) Good luck!!! :)

Absolutely! Which one are you thinking of running??? I'm doing my first half marathon in Chicago in September & am already a little nervous about it. I'm going to sign up for a 10k in May so that I have a mini goal in the meantime :)
