  • Thank you =) lol But, yes, I am her sister and maid of honor. Although we get this a lot (as well as really funny looks in public) we are both Pro-man! ha ha.... And to answer the first question, honestly, I think it just depends on the couple. We live in Texas, so, unfortunately same-sex marriage is not allow here....but…
  • I just eat if I'm hungry or need something. If I'm fine and I don't, then I just take the extra calories as a big win. If I am hungry, I eat the calories and make sure I don't go over. if I do, even by a little bit, I may walk around the block once or twice. =)
  • ooohhh I can't STAND miss!!! I feel you on this one. Maam, I'm ok with sometimes because I know certain people are trying to be polite. I'm 21 and people usually say I look like I'm 17, so I kinda like Maam....but Miss drives me NUTS! lol
  • Welcome! and Good luck with all of it!
  • Welcome back and good luck! P.S.: the baby in that picture is too precious! =)
  • I had this book (and I can't remember the name of it) that my mom gave me. It was something like "Low-fat homemade"... but when I started looking through it, it was the same recipies I was used to but with fat free everything! Kinda seemed like a rip off, but maybe you can try different low-fat stuff to make some down-home…
  • My fitness pal is great for that. You get to actually see what you are eating instead of just guessing. I love it so far! This is also a great place for inspiration... you get to talk to people that have the same goals as you! Good luck and welcome!

  • On your MFP, there should be a spot for your goal weight or measurments. Put in your goal and it will tell you how many calories daily you should eat. When you go walking (the system does it by time I think), log it in under exercise and it will tell you how many calories you burned walking. It will then add those calories…
  • welcome! The app, to me, is really hard to use (mainly becuase its so small on my phone) but its always a good thing that you are using it! =)
  • Good luck and welcome!!! =)
  • Welcome back! and good luck getting back into shape. It will be tough, but it will so be worth it! Feel free to add me! I think MFP is a great place to get inspiration. I love it so far. I joined about two or three weeks ago and I love it so far!
  • Welcome and Good luck!!!! so glad to have you on here!
  • Oh and my sister used one 8lb in each hand....so I second this!
  • yeah, I would say try smaller weights and see if it makes a difference. I know a lot of the work out systems (like the videos) say to start with 2 pound weights and move up from there. My sister started with 5 and moved to 8 pounds, and it seemed to work for her. When i first heard her say 8lbs, I was like "that's not that…
  • Welcome. and Good luck!!!
  • sex has nothing to do with someone's religion... there are plenty of Christians that have sex, so why argue with a non-christian that doesn't have sex.... really?
  • Freaking LOVE Big Bang Theory!
  • he wrote "your exact weight" on the piece of paper?
  • Welcome and good luck with everything! I'm sure you will LOVE MFP, it is great! and it really makes all the difference to keep track and see what you are really taking in every day! Good luck with everything
  • You look so amazing! Great Job! You really are an inspiration to people who think they can't do it. I'm amazed! Awesome!!!
  • Good job, keep up the good work! =)
  • Congrats! Yeah this website is the shizz. I love it! My sister has been on here for 3 months almost and has lost 33 pounds so far! I'm sure you will continue to love it!
  • Welcome and good luck with everything. Add me if you woud like to and I'd be more than happy to support you! =)
  • Welcome! =) I just started myself, but my sister has been doing it for a few months and she loves it to death! Good luck with everything!
  • I think its more of what you feel comfortable with. When I'm on the treadmill, I go up and down... I may briskly walk with an incline of 5 or 6 and switch to running at an incline of like 2 or 3. If you feel like its too much, then it may be. I would just play with it and see what you feel works for you. Good luck! =)
  • I work a lot and do school (not as much as you, which I commend, cuz that's amazing lol), and what I do is I do a once a week thing. On my day off, or a day that I don't have to go in until later, I fix up different meals (tuna salad sandwich seems to work the best for me). I have brought most of my lunch stuff up to work…
  • How can she NOT be following the system, if she JUST said, she was going over... how would she know if she was going over if she log it... rude..... and YES, it does matter what you eat... Like avacados, they have fat, but they have the good fat that helps your body STORE fat in the right places....it may have the same…

  • When I am craving sweets and just have to have them, I try to look up lower sugar or lower calorie recipies online. I found a website called eatingbetteramerica.com or something like that (you can probably google it) and found some dessert recipies. Maybe you could eat a low-fat, low-calorie dessert and cut down on…

  • Honestly, I would start with the bar and move up from there. Using too little weight can never hurt, but too much can be really bad. If you don't feel anything in the first few reps, then add a litte more and a little more until it feels right. No one will really what's right for you, except for you. Good luck!
  • bear crawls help, and lots of running. I absolutely hate running, and I am in the same boat. I don't need to lose weight, but my legs are very flabby-like. lol... I noticed even when I started walking (of course, I was walking like three hours a day, three days a week) I started seeing improvements. They still aren't were…
