^^This is what I do too. I have the FitBit One and the clip is pretty tight when I wear it in the center of my bra.
-
No need to wait for the pre-order through Fit Bit. I ordered mine through Best Buy online last week. If it isn't in your local store, you can have it shipped to the store or shipped to you probably a lot quicker than through Fit Bit. :)
-
Check your local Best Buy store.... Most of them already have the One in stock! Got mine on Wednesday. :)

Starting week 4 tonight.... Feel free to add me... if I make it through alive! lol

Hi! On the left-hand side of the Home Page, click on Weigh In. Then click Edit Previous Entries towards the bottom. Change the Measurement to Edit to whatever category you want to look at (ie. waist). Click Change. It should then show you all your measurements that you have recorded. Hope that helps!

Applebee's and Longhorn Steakhouse both have good options for me as I only like chicken. lol In fact, we are going to Applebee's tonight. I always get the Honey Dijon chicken (with no portebellos).

Not really. lol I've lost 4 lbs. in 45 days. Which is more like a pound every week and a half. I understand I should be happy I have lost something. I'm just saying it gets frustrating when it feels like I have been working so hard and it doesn't feel like it is working. Part of the reason I posted was also to get opinions…

Yes to both, I use calipers for the body fat (first measurement was about 3 weeks ago and hasn't changed). I'm not sure how often I should re-check body fat but I would assume it takes longer for that to show a difference? I just bought a tape and took measurements last weekend so I plan on taking them again tomorrow…

Oh, I know I *should* be happy with that but it just gets discouraging when I get on the scale and it hasn't moved! lol

I'm 41 and just started Week 3 of C25K last night. It was a little tough and I had to stop part way through the second run but I'll get there! lol Never thought I would like running but I do so far.
-
I'm starting it tonight for the first time. I have been doing some running with the C25K program and need to get some strength workouts in. =)
-
Thanks! I'll probably start the 30DS and like you said, go a little easy. I planned on starting out with 3lb weights anyway because I just had shoulder surgery almost 3 months ago and don't think I could get away with 5lbs. Lol
-
I am 5' even and currently weigh 152. My calipers say my body fat is 30.8%.
-
I have an app but I don't think it is the same one. :( Mine doesn't track any of that. I use digifit to do all my tracking. Sorry I couldn't help.
-
I'm 5' and I just upped my calories from 1200 to 1400.
-
I just increased my calories, too. Although not such a drastic increase as you are. But I am sure that has to do with our differences in weight, etc. MFP had me set at 1200. Using the TDEE method, I increased to 1400. I just started so I can't help you with if it works or not. But I sure hope it does! lol
-
Also, should I be eating back my exercise calories?
-
I have a Ninja Master Prep and love it! It was around $50 at Target. It comes with both a pitcher for smoothies, etc. and a 2-cup processor for making things like homemade salsa, etc. It is the first "blender" that I have had that really crushes the ice. It's almost like snow... lol

Homemade chicken salad in a wheat wrap.

^^^^ This! I am in the same boat! I wear a size 5 (sometimes a 5 1/2). I have just started running and went to my local running shoe store and picked up some Saucony Omni running shoes. They suggest a half size bigger so I ended up with a 6 which fit perfect. They are so comfortable and give me the support I need (I am a…

Hi! I just had shoulder surgery about 2 1/2 months ago. I am still pretty sore and can't do strengthening exercises yet. I started out with walking about a month ago and just started jogging. My shoulder gets pretty sore after but the surgery I had, I can't do any damage to it. Fortunately, I wasn't very hungry with the…

The one I use is C25K by Zen Labs because it's free. But there are a bunch of other ones. Just search C25K.
-
Same here! I just picked up some Saucony Omni 11's the other day from my local running store for $120. Love them!! So comfortable for my foot type.
-
Did I miss the link? lol
-
Count me in! I just did W1D1 yesterday. Bought some new running shoes tonight! Can't wait to try them out tomorrow.
-
I tried day 1 a few weeks ago and could only jog two segments the entire workout. Briskly walked the rest. Ugh! So last night I decided to try again since I have been walking every other day since then. I would not let myself quit this time. It sure wasn't easy but I made it! I thought since it is COUCH to 5K, I would have…

I got an inexpensive Polar at Target for $60. Not sure if that is still out of your range or not. It doesn't have a built in calorie counter but I just use www.calories-calculator.net to manually figure it out. It's the Polar FT1.
-
Portland here! Originally from Windham though. =)
-
I agree with the above poster... also, it doesn't appear that you are eating enough calories according to your daily goal.

If you have Wi-fi on, try disconnecting it before you start the app. I heard that the Wi-fi can interefere with getting the GPS signal. Don't know how true it is, but I always turn my wi-fi off before I start. Hope that helps!
