Pure awesomeness - what a great day for you!! Two favorite quotes: "It never gets easier. You just get better." and "I am a runner because I run. Not because I run far. Not because I run fast"

I opened this in lieu of doing something productive and work-related.

I can't speak for the BodyMedia, but I've had my FitBit for a year and a half and I LOVE IT. It's completely non-obtrusive, gives me the accuracy and information that I need for what I'm doing, and their customer service is second to none.

ME! Since I was a kid! No one has ever understood it, and people just assume you're going to go that route. I've set that expectation with both my ex and current husband. I was required to get a hysterectomy back in February due to some lady problems, and couldn't be happier about it!

You look incredible! Great job, friend!!

I just went to my local running store and got "professionally" fitted for a pair, based on my requirements, they hooked me up with some Saucony's. I needed a lot more arch support than I initially thought, and although I love the idea of the lightweight free-running shoes, I find my runs are much more enjoyable in these…

I track my progress on my phone with www.mapmyrun.com, and it tells me my average miles per hour. I then use that to log using the "walk, 4.5mph" (for example) option since I run very slowly. I may not be giving myself enough credit, since I'm jogging (bouncy) instead of walking, but I'd rather underestimate my calories…

I'm signed up to run the Tower of Terror 10Miler in September. Unfortunately I now live in NC (former Orlando-er), so Disney races take more coordination and funds than the "old days" so no plans for any others yet. I'm currently in week 5 of the C25K. Anyone else running that race, please friend me, maybe we can lend each…

Shirataki noodles with bell peppers, onions, garlic, rice wine vinegar, peanut butter, ginger, and shrimp. Awesomely good.

I'm on week 5 - it's a great program, I"m proud of myself every day that I do it.

I invented something yesterday - 1 Morningstar Farms spicy black bean veggie burger cut up into small pieces, 1/4 cup shredded cheddar, 3 tblsps salsa of your choosing, 2 tblsps of fat free sour cream, 11 Tostito Multigrain Scoops = nachos for 370 calories! I'm a nacho fiend, so this was an epiphany for me.
