Bex, I'm from NZ too and, while I'm still pretty young and haven't been to many weddings, I think this is a perfectly acceptable way to do things, but it's good to keep in mind how your friend and his partner may feel about you excluding said partner. Hopefully he/she will understand. Best of luck

I looked at your diary, you only net at about 700 calories yesterday, which is crazy low, especially if you have quite a bit of weight to lose. Go to fat2fitradio.com and use their BMR calculator to figure out how much you should be eating according to your exercise levels and use that to guide your intake a bit more…

There is a fine line between being shallow and having a preference. Attraction is a big part of relationships - I don't know if I could handle being in a relationship with someone I didn't want to have sex with, but I'm not solely attracted to people because of their looks. Someone could be drop dead gorgeous, but I'd…

Nup, I do that too :)

Thanks for the post; sums it up pretty well.

I think people feel a bit territorial and a sense of entitlement because of their loyalty to their gyms and their programmes, only to have their space invaded by people who aren't really that serious about making a lifestyle change and are only trying it on for a while. I'm not sure how to articulate it properly. In any…

If it were me, not knowing anything else, I would go for the strawberry garnish fruits of the forest pulp to start and then the beef for the main. Stay away from "creamy" sauces and pastries (but if you have to go with pastry, take filo over puff).

Yes.

Mine's open to everyone so knock yourself out

From what I can see, honestly, the belly area looks a bit overweight. But, like Graelwyn said, since it's not a full body shot it's hard to tell. Sorry.

Great story - thanks for sharing

I respect that.

Yeah, I might - if I'd lost a couple more kilos first

I wish I had your boobs :grumble:  :flowerforyou:

I'm not going to go into all the nit-picky details about tone/choice of words etc used by OP. As for society's view on food, I do agree that society's view of food is skewed and it makes it harder to embark on a healthy diet/lifestyle. For example, my dad makes fun of me when I weigh my food to get portion sizes right…

Exactly. I've looked at people and thought they look almost painfully thin, simply because it looks like they're starving themselves because they're so skinny. When it looks like you can take their arm and snap it in half, or when they look drawn and unhealthy and gaunt, that's when they're "too thin".

My host family in Japan had something like that - but it looked more like a horse saddle, not a bicycle seat, and there was less pelvic thrusting, and more... uhm.... grinding... motions.... :indifferent: Before anyone asks, yes, I did try it out :blushing:

I wouldn't call myself an expert on this or anything, but I do a bit of HIIT, either on the treadmill or the elliptical. On the treadmill I start with a 5-10 minute warm up of steady running, building up the pace. Then I do 1 minute sprints and 1 minute jogs. I start with slow-ish sprints and build up the pace as I go on.…
