  • My sister has this problem and Miralax, suppositories, more fiber, none of that worked for her. She even got a prescription strength pill from her dr and it didn't work. She ended up buying this stuff you drink Magnesium Citrate or something like that, it was flavored Grape I think. She bought it at CVS and it was about…
  • I just use the recipe tool and from the beginning I put in about how many servings I think the whole meal is. When I eat leftovers I guesstimate if I eat half of a serving or whatever. I usually go a little bit over what I think I ate. As for the gravy/broth, I'd enter a new recipe and divide that into servings too. Then…
  • I eat Sara Lee 45 calories and delightful wheat bread and it has 15 grams of fiber in 2 slices.
  • If you can't find the information anywhere then you will have to log each ingredient as close as you can in your food diary. For example, how many oz of tuna, the foccacia, toppings, condiments etc. That's the closest thing you can do.
  • Log it as circuit training for 25 minutes
  • You look absolutely beautiful :) Congrats!
  • I usually just use leftover grilled chicken breast, a tablespoon of mayo made with olive oil, squirt of mustard, dash of celery seed, pepper, onion, and a teaspoon of sweet relish...and a dash of splenda per serving. It's REALLY healthy, filling, and tastes good.
  • I have no idea on the actual serving size. I never measure how much I actually eat. It's a pretty good serving though, maybe 1.25 cups? After feeding hubby, daughter, and I... I filled an entire 6 cup bowl for leftovers and threw a little bit out because I didn't have room.
  • I put the chicken in frozen, I buy the 5lb bags of frozen chicken breasts, so I just threw 3 of them in. If on low, I would say about 6-7 hours?
  • I put it in at 2pm and it was done at 6pm...so 4 hours :) As for another cheese, I would probably buy the 2% milkfat american cheese. I just had the other on hand because my daughter eats it. Even cheddar, but it's high calorie...I ended up putting a little cheese on top of mine last night and added those calories separate…
  • You're welcome!! It was really good!! and we have TONS of leftovers.
  • I have had a CHI hair straightener for 6 years. It is the best straightener I've ever used, and several of my friends have bought one after using mine. I suggest using that over anything!!
  • Hey Bridgette! My husband just got back from Los Angeles, and he just ate salads the whole time he was gone...he lost 5lbs while he was in CA...CA has a lot of healthy options, so I would just suggest salads...grilled chicken, low calorie dressings...bring some snacks with you! If you have an iphone or droid, add the MFP…
  • Yum! This sounds good!
  • I didn't dress up, but my daughter did. She just turned 2. This is her and I walking to a festival last night, I look thrilled...lol, but I fit into size 14 jeans finally! Here is my daughter enjoying a free ice cream (I had a taste, and it was amazing..lol)
  • Yeah that's the worst part for some of us....I am finally a full B cup, used to be an A before I gained weight...so I'm sure I will go back down to that...
  • I mix half a dry ranch dressing packed with a container of cottage cheese! You could even blend it in a blender to make it a better texture!
  • Make sure your sodium intake is below the daily recommended value, if you are over that will make you hold on to your weight as well. Also make sure you are eating at least half of your exercise calories as well..you don't want to be starving your body! I have been eating between 1200-1300 calories a day, staying below my…
  • I love the Nature's Own Honey Wheat 35 Calorie per slice...it's so good and low calorie, high in fiber!!!
  • I just made these and did a blog post with pictures on them :) http://darcibean.blogspot.com/2010/10/recipe-fat-free-pineapple-cake.html
  • I just bought the ingredients at the store to make this tonight!!! Yummmm.... To whoever was asking where you find it, I got it at walmart in the cake section Betty Crocker Angel Food Mix, it's a just add water box mix. $1.97.
  • They have a "Guiltless Grill Menu" inside their regular menu! http://healthydiningfinder.com/restaurant/?id=62
  • We spend $250-$300 a month for a family of 3. I always buy a 6lb bag of frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts when it's on sale, so it ends up being around $2 lb. I like to marinate 4-5 chicken breasts in Italian dressing and I will grill it out, we usually will eat one breast for dinner, and then save the rest for…
  • I made a similar version to these as well, and they were very good. I used: Spice Cake Mix 15 oz can of Libby Pumpkin 1 medium egg 1 egg white 2/3 cup of water They came out to only 99 calories a muffin, which the batch made 24 muffins.
  • I'm more of a food-food type person, not really junk food. I could sit and eat any type of Mexican food all day, cheese, BBQ, macaroni and cheese, casseroles, etc. I have been doing really well staying away from all of it. It helps that my husband is on the diet train with me though!
  • My motivation is my daughter and future child(ren). I want to be someone they are proud of to show off. Same for my husband, I want him to feel proud when he introduces me to his co-workers and friends, not embarrassed. I want to feel better about myself, I just keep pushing, because really it's not that hard to eat…
  • Sounds like you should try Diet Rite...it's made with Splenda! It's not like the other ones! I don't drink coffee either, I don't like it! lol
  • This was me exactly 3 weeks ago. I seriously HAD to have coke or pepsi....I started logging my calories, even the ones I would drink and realized I was wasting my calories on soda and I was consuming THOUSANDS of calories a day. I quit drinking the soda cold turkey...I drink Crystal light, ice water, Coke Zero, Diet Pepsi,…
  • Thanks for asking this question!! I'm pretty sure you were on the same wavelength as me from my post this morning! :)
  • Thanks so much everyone for the encouraging words!!! I think I just lost so much the first 2 weeks that I want to lose it like that every week...I know I shouldn't be that way though. I'm just going to keep on. It's hard though, my husband has lost 14lbs already and he started two days after me!! Not fair! Ha!!
