You just discribed me perfectly: everything going in the right direction and then, boom, I start back with my old habits. Trying really really hard to get back in the swing of things but struggling everyday. Hopefully we can both get it together soon so that all the hard work we've already put in won't be wasted.

I started out at that exact same weight (320)! And the day I got under 300 was so exciting! I know exactly how it feels. You should be super proud of yourself. I'm gonna send you a friend requested since we seem to have a lot in common! Keep it up!

Unfortunately I caved :( But I let the kids choose their favorites and the rest we are donating to the troops. A win-win: the candy gets out of my house AND the troops will get a treat.

I wish I could say I avoided it! I should have had hubby go thru the kids candy to make sure it was all ok. But, alas, that job feel to me. And I failed miserably! Tomorrow is a new day and we are donating most of our candy to the troops. A good way to get it out of my house AND support our men and women in the service of…

I'm in the same boat: down 42 lbs and not one peep outta anyone. Here is my thought: people just don't know what to say. If they say, "wow! It looks like you've lost some weight" they worry that you'll think they thought you were grotesque before. So instead of running the risk of insulting you they just say nothing. I…

I'm really sorry if anyone thought I was "bashing" vegetarians because that was not my intention. And I also never implied that ALL vegetarians eat meat substitutes. I believe that everyone has their own way of eating and living and I find vegetarians very inspiring people. Again, I sorry if anyone was offended.

I had gastric several years ago and while it helped me lose 145 lbs I wasn't good about keeping up with what needed to be done and gained back 80. Since joining MFP I've re-lost 42 of that. No one has ever criticized me for being a gastric bypass re-bounder. Besides, just stick to your own program, let the haters hate, and…

I have that, too. Have had if for 4-5 years, off & on. Went to a doctor and followed his treatment for 6 weeks. Got better for a while but came back. Funny thing is I won't have problems for months and then it just flares up again. I take Advil for the pain and try to flex my foot a lot throughout the day. See a doctor if…

I'm in the same rut. Only exercised 1 day this week. Family issues came up and couldn't get the motivation to even eat anything much less exercise. All I can say is to keep trying. Also, don't think that you can only get exercise at a gym. Park the car farther away so that you get in a little walking, take the stairs when…

No. I go over fiber everyday and even take a fiber supplement. It just helps to keep things "moving" in the body, if you know what I mean ;)

I've lost 35 and no one has noticed either. Yes, it annoys me. I need to lost ALOT so maybe that's why no one has noticed but it still annoys me. I even have my whole "hey, you lost weight. How did you do it?" answer planned out in my head. But I'm just trying to remember I'm not doing this for others to notice, but for…

Amen, sister! You need desire and commitment for ANY amount of weight loss. That's why MFP is so great. We are all in this together and we all know how hard it is. Keep up the great work!

I weigh myself every morning. It's probably too much I know but to wait a week is just too hard for me. And I have been taking measurements. Those aren't really changing much either. But I did wear a pair of pants yesterday that felt a little looser. Thanks for suggesting that. That's what I'll try to focus on from now on!

You need to just find the right doctor and find the right medication. Don't give up-it can get better!
-
In total agreement with you!

McDonalds sugar free vanilla iced coffee! But I went from 2-3 larges a day to 1 medium once a week. But you know what? I look forward to that 1 much more then before and it even tastes better. But I only reward myself if I've lost. Keeps me motivated!
-
You definitely will lose weight! Just stick with it. Some weeks are harder then others and the whoosh! You lose 5 lbs in one. Don't get discouraged!
-
Bump. I really need help with this mfp people!

I tried it a while back and the freeze dried food just wasn't that tasty. And to get the good tasting frozen food you had to pay more. I know it's hard to do it alone. Even though I'm in a house full of people I'm the only one dieting so I basically cook meals for just myself. Just do your best. And remember you're worth…

Very moving. Thank you!

That is so awesome! And I know exactly how you feel. I too was in the "300+ club" and man when that scale showed 299.8 I was over the moon. Keep up the great work! Looking forward to more positive postings from you.

I know how you feel : I lost 150 lbs about 6 years ago but gained back 80! I have been so angry with myself for doing that to myself...again! Just start over: this is a new journey, not a continuation of the old one. You can do it!

My first name was misspelled by my mother so it's pretty uncommon. Even the way is should have been spelled is not a common name either. At least my maiden name was pretty normal so growing up if people butchered the first name they'd at least get the last name right. And then I got married. Another hard to pronounce name!…

I buy the little pre-measured tubs of low sodium natural peanut butter-250 cals. That way I use half on my sandwich and still have some to put on my spoon and enjoy it that way. Also having them pre-measured makes it easier to not keep digging my spoon into the jar!

No, inches don't seem to be moving either.

Frozen veges are pretty cheap. Also buy fruit that's in season (like apples right now)
