have you had a physical with a doctor? maybe a different food plan might work better for you. not everyones body reacts the same to a food plan.

I am having the same issue. I am down 3 pant sizes and 4 shirts sizes. I have had to buy clothes, clearance and thrift stores is what I am doing. I have cleared my closet so I have no room to go backwards. I did spend $45 on a pair of jeans and they are bagging in the *kitten* already. This is a good thing of course :wink:…

Welcome....This site has done wonders for me. It has really been a daily tool. I made the commitment to my health on June 26,2009 and I am so happy I did. I remember every day I didnt put this weight on in a few months....it is not going to come off in a "few months". Good luck to you. J

Have your glucose levels checked. That is a symptom of insulin resistence. I have just been diagnosed and am on a low dose of metformin. I have to really watch my carbs. Hard to do.

I would consider my meals low in "processed" carbs. I try to stay away from sugar, white flower, and for sure no fried foods. I do not limit my fruits/vegitables. I have tried the Adkins thing...worked for a while but I could not stick to it. When I want bread/tortillas/english muffin...I will really look at my calories…

This sight has given me a visual of what I am eating. I can see how things are adding up for the day. It helps me plan ahead.
