Exercise, exercise, exercise, spending lots of time outside, and good music help me. I also pre-log for a month or two at a time to help me when I fall off the wagon (into a giant pizza and chocolate cycle). The first three - five days are the worst. Do you live in an area where there are things to do? When I do new things…

You can add me, I have had a lot of success with mfp and I use it to get back on track when I derail from time to time

I heat up a bag of frozen veggies in the microwave and season with spices, salad dressing, or A1. Super fast and easy. I hit the grocery for sushi or a cooked chicken on my way home to go with veggies instead of eating out. Hard boiled eggs, almonds, greek yogurt, canned beans, and berries are quick foods for lunch boxes…

I have a 2 year old and just started mfp again. For me if I focus on getting my calcium, protein, and vitamin A and C goals it's easier to eat lot of veggies and protein rich foods. Plus if I look at a huge plate of salad while I'm tracking that seems much more appealing than a huge plate of salad when I'm not conserving…

Nice start. You can add me if you like

You can add me! I have a 2 year old. I have had pelvic joint trouble since giving birth so I can't work out like I used to but I am working on my eating and working out when I can

I like Lindsey Brin's DVD, I work out with that one a few days a week.

I love Jillian Michael's 30 day shred!

I second this, go straight to the gym after work and tell yourself your workday isn't over until you have worked out. Even if you don't want to go make it part of your job. Then when you are there remind yourself that you came all the way to the gym so you have to do some gym-things here.

I run 3 to 4 days a week in the summer (I'm a wimp and don't like to run in the cold). I'd recommend lifting weights too, when I added lifting and squats to my routine my times dropped. Here is the schedule I follow (for the most part I do stuff comes up plus if my shins bother me or something I switch to walking for a…

I talked about metformin with my doctor a while ago, but I'm not overweight, diabetic, or insulin resistant (I tested insulin resistant once right after I misscarried - I was doing some unhealthy emotional eating at that time, but they tested again and it was normal). I've got an appointment set up with a fertility…

Great job! Keep up the good work!

Awe, Krista I am sorry for your situation. I know what you mean about pregnant friends, it is hard. I have been trying to go the other way a bit, I started volunteering at a kids museum, I love the kids, and just trying to look at the positives of my situation mainly that I get to play with them and try to help them learn…

It happened to me after I miscarried, I just didn't get a period again. After 3 months my doctor put me on 10 mg medroxyprogesterone and that got it going again, though I am irregular now.

I'm 5'3" and I can lose weight pretty easily at 1200 calories. I usually do cycles where I eat at 1200 with the same philosophy as you on exercise calories for about 2 weeks, then I eat maintenance calories (for me 1500 - 1600) calories for about 2 weeks or so for a break, or more typically stop tracking food all together…

Thank you so much Cindy. If we end up deciding to start looking into adoption I might message you for tips if you don't mind sharing.

Thanks for the support and advice ladies, it does mean a lot and it helps just to feel understood. Good luck to you as well!

It's rough. MFP is helping me stay in a healthy routine. For me I'm actually at a healthy BMI but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be enough. It does make me want to drown my feeling in ice cream but obviously that won't help beyond some very temporary relief... and then I'll have to work it off. I'm glad I can come here…

I had this problem too, it ended up being more of a cauliflower pizza casserole when I made it. I used fresh cauliflower and still tried to get as much water out as I could, but no dice. It still tasted good, but definitely not pizza-like.

I'm sorry you are having a tough time also, but thanks for venting with me. And thanks for not trying to cheer me up (just knowing I'm not alone makes me feel better than anything else at this point). People try to say encouraging things if I do talk about it, but that often just makes me more upset. I often hear "it will…

I've been on Clomid for a while and the cramping has gotten worse every month. Good luck to you.

I got 500 bucks the same way and spent it on a Playstation 3

Get on birth control because it will clear all that evil acne right up which will do wonders for your self confidence. Also your mom has TERRIBLE fashion sense. Stop wearing the clothes she picks out.

I just hit 30 today

I'm up to 20 minutes total, I did 4 of those today, I am having to step it up if I want to meet this goal
