i was down 2 lbs last week but then gained them back over the weekend :(. I think it's mostly because yesterday I was starving for some reason and was eating pretty much everything (so that I could still be hungry, apparently). So I'm a little frustrated and hoping I don't spend this whole challenge losing the same 2 lbs!

07/29/11: 154 lb 08/05/11: 152 lb so excited! i think last friday i was a little heavier from going out the night before, but hopefully i'll be able to keep this 2lb/week loss going!

i definitely recommend purchasing a HRM; it's a much more accurate way to find out how many calories you're burning than relying on the counts on treadmills/ellipticals, and even the calculator on MFP. i have a garmin 305 that i like, my only gripe about it is that it doesn't get an accurate read when i exercise inside.…

my first half was the rock n roll mardi gras in new orleans in feb. 2011. i'm about to start training for my second half, the nike women's half marathon in san francisco, that's in october. and i'm planning to do rock n roll new orleans again in march 2012!

the weather is changing down here (i live in new orleans) and it's hot and humid alllllllllll the time. it makes it so much harder to get out and work out, because it involves either getting up at the crack of dawn before it gets too hot or waiting until the evening when tons of other things are going on and i'm competing…
