I had a bout of low energy when I first started it, but after a week or so, my energy was back to normal. I dropped the keto diet when I became pregnant (my one and only actual craving was chocolate milk and I wasn't going to deprive myself of it) but I'm looking forward to getting back at it soon.

Great work! Just remember, the closer you get to your goal, the slower it will come off. You may have made great progress in your first 30 days, but you shouldn't get discouraged or frustrated when the losses slow down.

I followed a keto diet for a bit over a year. I loved it, as did my husband (who ate the keto meals I made, but supplemented them with carbs). I got to challenge myself with recipes - I'd find any recipe that sounded good, then worked to alter it in a way that fit my diet. I didn't have much issue with keto-flu, luckily,…

The more accurate you are in detailing what you're consuming, the more accurate you can be with what you need to burn in order to lose weight. Eyeballing did not work for me. Once I got my scale, I eyeballed a serving of brown rice, then actually weighed it. I was WAY off. It definitely got me using my scale more often.

Frittatas. I can make a huge one that will last me all week. You can put anything you want in them. Delightful.

I go to the gym that my company pays for me to go to. Because - Free.

In all honesty here, I read the first few words and stopped. Maybe they drop you because you type everything in capital letters. That crap is hard to read and I'd probably drop you too. Or at least hide you.

You're not the boss of me.

After what this guy had said in posts in the past, I decided to try it. I've done it fairly consistently since September of last year. For me, sticking to a keto diet keeps me in control. It gives me structure to work around and a challenge to figure out how to make recipes I find into ones that fit with my diet. I'd like…

Nope. In 2015 I made a resolution not to reuse any recipes for lunch or dinner. I meal prep and cook food for the whole week, so I made 104 different recipes that I pulled mostly from Pinterest. It kept me from getting bored. I haven't exactly continued that for this year because I just really liked some of those recipes…

Eat less than 1200 calories a day to lose weight. You can't eat that. You should try the HCG diet. You should try this detox. You should try this juicing diet. You should try this weight loss pill. You shouldn't lift because you'll get bulky. You shouldn't lift heavy things because you'll look like a man. Listen to Dr. Oz.…

I thought this said POS. I was kicked off of POF. I guess I didn't ask enough guys whatever they wanted me to. Or it might have been because my coworker with no boundaries made a profile for me and there were probably two of me floating around out there. Also, MFP is a WAAAAAAY better dating site. Get on it.

Texas is judging you.

By your own admission, these people know science. Every thing you have posted proves that you don't. At all.

Oh. This is one of those. I was hoping it would be more of a "Can you believe that people actually think essential oils can help with weight loss?"

Slim Jims. So many Slim Jims.

When topics like this pop up, I expect the OP to post an Ashton Kutcher gif saying that we're being punk'd. OP, perhaps your palate is just too sophisticated for some foods and Wal-Mart is just beneath you. Instead of paying 50 cents for your avocados, you should definitely be paying $4 for the organic versions at a…

Do I ask that people send a message with their FR? Yep. I won't add some rando that I have never interacted with in forums or seen on friends' walls. Why? Because I post personal things here. I like to know that my friends are like-minded - that we actually have something in common other than the fact we both work out. If…

I have found what works for ME (please note that I'm not suggesting this for anyone else, simply providing my own experience) is a keto diet. When I reduced my carb intake that drastically, my body responded by regulating my periods. Prior to that, I only had them when I was taking BC and they stopped completely when I…

Perfectly said. I may have joined a gym in May rather than in January, but everybody has to start somewhere! Why give people crap for trying to make a positive change? A number of them will likely fizzle out, so keep your trap shut and look forward to your space being reclaimed in the mean time.

Slim Jims and sausage. No joke.

You should look into PactApp if you have a smart phone. You can be held monetarily accountable for working out, logging your food, or eating fruits and vegetables. http://www.gym-pact.com/

This. This x a million. You are allowed to eat these things. Calorie counting allows you to budget your food. You can expend, say 1300 calories on your regular food and meals for the day, then spend the extra 200 (or whatever you have left over) on something a bit more indulgent. You don't HAVE to cut all sugar or snacks…

Avocado, tomatoes, salt, lime juice. Maybe some cilantro. Anything else is too much.

Oh yes. How dare I want to be selective of the people I share details of my life with! How dare I want to be friends with those who have similar goals! :s
