I do eat before hand, but at least an hour or so. I find if I work out really hard on a full belly I get some complaints from the belly!!

As for hot accent and weird phrases, I'm from Newfoundland. There can't be anything more hot than that!! Hehehehe!!:drinker:

Did you know that your liver also processes your fat? Pissing your liver off will not help you lose fat. In reality, you want to lose fat! Weight is made up of more things than fat. Is the alcohol making you binge eat? If you drink too much, it causes you to be dehydrated which makes you LOSE weight. But it prevents your…

The way I look at working out is what schedule is something I can live with forever! If you work out two hours a day to get to your weight goal, is that something you'll be able to keep up after you reach your goal? I usually do an hour alternate days and 45 minutes between.... And I make sure I eat back the calories I burn

Whatever works for you! Awesome! Maybe when I get down to the last ten pounds, I'll do the same. But right now, LOVES ME a bedtime snack!

eat veggies and drink a pile of water before you go! If this is new to you, and you have an issue with chinese food, maybe it's best not to have it. For me, since I'm a food addict, I have to consider any bad decision could be a trigger. Really, I'm one chinese food buffet away from gaining 100 pounds back. I know, that's…

I don't know about thigh gap. But my legs don't feel like they are going to catch fire anymore! LOL That's all i care.

Your caloric goal should not really be based on your height. I am 5'4" and my beginning caloric goal was 2650 per day. I hit 100 pounds lost in 52 weeks. Maybe you are not eating enough?

I live in Newfoundland. I've run in blizzard conditions, -25 or so (C) I used to tell myself you can't run outside in the winter too. Then I researched shoes and clothing. I realized the only obstacle to doing what I want is myself. :) get the right gear and you can run in any and all weather! It's awesome!

When I started running, I could not run outdoors without the feeling I was going to spontaneously combust. Now I can't run indoors! LOL my pace is much faster indoor, (3mi in 27 min on treadmill, consistent small incline) but outsde I'm looking at 3mi is 31 minutes. the other thing is my neighbourhood is HILLY AS HELL! :)…

Awesome! Exactly! The past is anything that happened before this second. You have to get over it and move on. I am so happy to see this post. A few bad decisions are not what defines you. It's the work you put in between those decisions! :)

Hahha, I'm one of the biggest flirts I know, yet I haven't seen any flirting on here so far!! :) Maybe I'm just too busy logging my food and exercise!! :)

Here's my thinking on this. If you're eating that few calories, you're hurting your metabolism and you'll never successfully keep off the pounds you're losing. If you're lying on your tracking, you'll never successfully keep off the pounds either. I have noticed that same thing. If they are that low for that long, they…

I personally don't eat any prepackaged food, and here is why. Not just for the sodium! Your liver is the organ that processes your fat. It's also the organ that cleans chemicals from your blood. If it is too busy getting the chemicals out of your blood, it can't process your fat properly. So, eating those prepackaged meals…

You don't stretch before you run. You stretch after. You can do a few warmups like these http://www.livestrong.com/article/103342-warm-up-exercises-running/ Or walk for 5-10 mins at a good, brisk pace. You can also check this out. http://www.livestrong.com/article/112030-exercises-improve-running/

Because when I was in high school, everyone called me pudge. I was 130 pounds while my friends were 120-125. So I went on my first diet and lost 10 pounds THE WRONG WAY! Gained back 20, lost 20 gained back 40 etc. Eventually I was 299 pounds. Now down to almost 190 (grr, 2 weeks of sabotaging myself and staying the same!)

That's awesome! So happy for you! Feels great to finally do it, eh?

It used to be hot wings. I haven't had any in over a year.

Mine is current. Maybe a month old....by ticker is a year in the making.

I just did that yesterday! And as a result, I suffered on my run today! Food is fuel. Try to remember that. That's what I'll be remembering next time I try to do this.

Because if you put your body in too much of a calorie deficit, it will be more difficult to maintain your weight loss. I look at it like this. If I eat back the calories I exercise off, I have a NET caloric intake (right now) of 1450 calories per day. If I couldn't workout because of a broken leg or something for a few…

Way to go!!!!!! :)

I always eat at night!!!! I don't like having too many hours without food. I eat dinner at 5pm, so not eating again until 7am means 14 hours without eating. I always have a proteien snack at about 8-9 pm!

Clean eating! No processed garbage!

I'm in a size 14-16 now and I'm 190. It's not an easy thing to compare. :)

Most often, lack of results seem to come from a coiuple of things. The TYPE of food being eaten should be clean, free of chemicals, not processed, etc. Not getting enough calories. Many people don't track their calories burned. You have to eat back those calories, that's why MFP reduces your net calories when you track…

Feel free to add me, that goes for all of you! The more the merrier!

Basically, you take your favorite pancake recipe, remove the white flour and use quinoa flour. Use egg whites instead of egg and instead of vegetable oil, use grapeseed or other healthy oil. They will knock your socks off. I personally use the one on allrecipes.com, good old fashioned pancakes. I put partridgeberries in…
