off topic,I am sorry, your profile says you are 5'8" and you want to lose and get down to a "healthy 96lbs" ? How do you figure that is healthy? sorry not trying to be rude but that is a pretty low number for 5'8", i know that BMI is a *kitten* indicator but that would put you at 14.8 and quite under weight. I am 5'6" and…

seriously, someone brought cheesecake brownies to work a few weeks ago. I ate 3,,, and then I mourned them. lol so good. I refuse to make them. But normally. Chips. or restaurant chips and salsa. lol, poutine, and anything that is combined chocolatey and cakey...

bump, sounds delish!

I think then you miss the point of the article i posted... has nothing to do about "dealing with it" if your loved one suddenly becomes unattractive to you based on outer appearance, but how about loving them for who they are, and supporting them to become healthy not threatening to leave or boycott affection until they…

Just saw this on fb, thought it was fitting... a la Erin Brown, she's always got such inspiring things to say: I just received an email I wanted to share with you. The reader wrote to me about an email she had received from a bootcamp instructor promoting his business with a story. The story went like this: "Mary's"…

add me to the list as well, I never comment on these threads but WHOA! just whoa... who does he think he is, and why do you put up with that? I recently got married, at my heaviest, he loves me for who I am, and is oblivious to the fact that I've put on some weight since we got together.... "did you lose weight honey?"…

my doc (who i haven't seen in ages) seems to refuse to put me on any sort of oral medication, all that I get is the salufolk (sp) suppositories.... is it just because my UC is not bad enough to need daily meds ( I generally can keep my self out of a flare up and when i go into a bad one I take my suppositories)... thoughts?

mine is open to friends, feel free to add :)

i enjoy mine, I too like the sleep tracker... no wonder I am so tired when I wake up apparently I am a very restless sleeper. lol otherwise i like that it links to mfp so I don't have to log food twice, and it's motivating. Sure it may be a glorified pedometer but still it's nice to see the mileage, stairs, etc too! :) I…

i think that if he plans on juicing for breaky and lunch but still eats supper with the family that that is A-OK :) he is still getting quite a bit of cals in... despite juicing as you are putting so many fruits and veg in... so it's not like he's drinking 50 cal drinks all day :) and he can have as much juice as he…

cucs, peppers, mushrooms (any veg really), pita bread, melba toast, rice crackers, pretzels, as a spread on a veggie sandwich, etc. LOVE hummus

I frankly would ignore the picky part if its not a food allergy or intolerance,. some people are just stubborn at trying veggies and think they don't like any of them... what about just doing a veg with whatever you make in a yummy fantastic way so as to introduce the others to new ways of looking at vegs? ie roasted veg,…

I just think it's because, like myself, you log every component rather then lumping something you have often as a meal which many people do so it looks like they've only eaten one thing when really that one thing was made up of a bunch of things. except for recipes that I've made a large batch of (like my soup) I log…

you can go into your goals setting any manually (cuistom) change that... feel free to leave the calories at what MFP puts you at but change the carbs/proteins/fat numbers, I think it automatically sets you at 50% carbs, and 25 each of protein and fat, or 30 and 20? I can't remember. I have mine set to 40/30/30 so that my…

conceited vs conceded. they are two different words people! Conceited means full of yourself, while conceded means something you gave up.

I already replied to this thread, but upon reading another topic in the forums I have another Sapporting/saporting,,,, ummm what? do you mean supporting? and all of these (ten words you need to stop misspelling) when it comes to writing: http://theoatmeal.com/comics/misspelling

bump... love lazy man cabbage rolls but haven't tried it in the crock yet

"just sayin'" and I'm just saying, that saying just saying doesn't exonerate what you previously said (or you) from being an *kitten* irregardless is not a word pacifically vs specifically supposably is also not a word (supposedly) your, you're, there, their, they're "epic, mint" or any variation there of lol

I have been learning a lot about this lately as one of my best friends often saves horses from the feedlots here in canada the problem is not in eating horse meat itselft (it's quite common overseas, but in 1) not telling people and 2) not knowing where the meat is coming from/ not regulated. . often times the horses…
