WEIGH IN: 207.2 Up a little bit more this week. I actually have a few good excuses this week.... but that's all they are is excuses. I've moved into a new position at work (I work in accounting) and it was my first period end in the new position... which means I had to work a lot of overtime. Which means I missed all of my…

WEIGH IN: 206.6 Back up again... :(

No change for me this week. I spent the first half of the week eating healthy and staying active... then I went away to my best friend's place for the weekend and undid all my wonderful progress. On the positive side, I could have gained weight, rather than maintaining. I guess I just have to work twice as hard to make up…

WEIGH IN: 204.8 YAY!! That's the first time I've seen a loss since Christmas, I think. I feel like I'm back on track! :drinker:

WEIGH IN: 209.4... up again this week. Before Christmas I was doing so well... and then I just lost it. And I can't seem to get back on track. I don't want to track what I've eaten. I don't even log in to mfp other than to weigh in every week... Where did all my determination go?

No change this week.

WEIGH IN: 208.6 I'm up 3 lbs this week. It seems like I'm up and down every other week... Last week I lost 3 lbs and this week I gained it right back. Believe me, I know why it's happening. The answer is obviously that I eat too much and don't exercise enough. But it's easier said then done. Well, back on the horse…

WEIGH IN: 205.6 So, I totally lost it over Christmas and went back up to 210 lbs but this morning I got back on the scales and I lost almost all of it again! A little excited... but trying not to think about it too much because then I start down the path of 'Well... I lost weight so I can eat a little more...' which leads…

Merry Christmas everyone!! I hope you are all enjoying a fantastic holiday. I know we're not officially weighing-in this week but I just wanted to report that I lost 1 lb this week!!! I really expected to gain over Christmas (and who knows, maybe it will catch up with me next week...) but so far so good!
-
WEIGH IN: 205.0 So, I totally gained back the 2.2 lbs I lost last week. I know why... I didn't exercise and I overate. I suppose it's good for me to know how easily the weight comes back. It's just really hard with so many Christmas parties!! Only another 2 weeks to go before all the parties are over. I've made a few…

WEIGH IN: 202.8 I totally thought I gained weight this week and I'm down 2 lbs!! Yay!!!

I tend to lean toward the food gifts myself (especially for guys). Every year I bake cookies for my brothers but, since I'm trying hard to focus on healthy living now, it seems hypocritical to give everyone cookies. So I'm making batches of pumpkin butter and apple sauce and jams... still homemade goodness but a little…

My favorites are: It's a Wonderful Life (1946, James Stewart & Donna Reed... I have the collector's edition that includes both the black & white and color version but I've never watched the color version. It wouldn't feel right.) Die Hard (1988, Bruce Willis & Alan Rickman... not usually defined as a Christmas movie, but…

So I'm totally late weighing in... but apparently it doesn't matter because I didn't gain or lose anything this week. Still sitting at 205. Boo. :(

Since I had a minor weight gain this week (0.2 lbs), I should be really careful about what I eat this week. But what did I do last night? I ate EVERYTHING IN MY HOUSE. Okay, maybe not everything. But a lot. It involved onion rings and cheese sandwiches and chocolate ice cream. I felt so sick when I was done. *hang head in…

I gained 0.2 lbs this week... which I know is not a lot, but it still makes me unhappy. It was definitely the snacking that I did Saturday night. Boo. But it's a new week and I WILL succeed this week!! ~M

I use Skullcandy, too. But I usually run with only one in my ear because they DO block all sounds and I run in the country where there are no sidewalks and plenty of crazy drivers. :)

Here are my cooking horror stories: About 7 or 8 years ago, I put a cake in the oven and then went to work. For 12 hours. Whoops. Lucky for me, it just hardened into a black brick and did not catch fire. A few years before that, I was making candles (not exactly cooking... but in the kitchen) and I discovered that you…

Finally got new batteries in the scale after 3 weeks... and I'm down 5.6lbs! Yay me! ~M

So... I can only weigh-in at my parents' house because I cannot have a scale in my own house (sanity reasons). The batteries died in their scale about a month ago... so I haven't been able to weigh myself. I have no idea how I'm doing. But my pants feel a little bigger! That's good, right?!??! ~M

Way to go!! You are FABULOUS!:drinker: ~M

Vitamin E oil helps. I don't think anything works 100%, though.

That was amazingly motivational. Thanks so much for sharing!!!

Me too with the cheese! I love cheese and bread. A grilled cheese sandwich is probably my favorite food in the world. Why couldn't my addiction be lettuce???

I think most of us need all the support and encouragement we can get on this journey that we call health. Good luck to you! ~M

The video I have is Zumba Fitness - Basics. It does a really good job of breaking down the steps so it's easier to learn. The only thing I would say is - most Zumba instructors do their own choreography (I've been to a few classes and they're all different!). So, while it will help you with your coordination and fitness...…

Me too!! I think we all need all the support we can get here. Good luck!

I watched The Satanic Rites of Dracula (1973 - Christopher Lee & Peter Cushing) on Halloween. Oldie but goodie... I love Christopher Lee as Dracula. ~M

I always loved Dawn of the Dead (the original AND the remake!). Of course, Planet Terror. And, it was a terrible movie, but Chopper Chicks In Zombie Town was mildly entertaining...

I alternate between Black Betty by Ram Jam and the Ghostbusters theme song. ~M
