  • I'm drooling over Mr 10-12%
  • Been doing the walk/run intermittant training and finding it very helpful expecially mentally as I know I'm going to walk after so many minutes, rather that running for a bit and then feeling like I'm a failure by walking. Running slower (well jogging actually) is definately easier for me than trying to run fast to get fit…
  • Yes, this time of year but not when it's really cold!!! About 6.5miles each way. Fairly quiet roads but couple of huge hills! There are a couple of routes I can take, one of which means cycling through part woodland and one across a field, so have no puncture tyres!! Is a pain getting changed and often arrive lovely and…
  • Thank you so much for all the replies. Get the feeling I should slow down!!! Jasonheyd...walking and running intervals should be good for me I think, will start on that tomorrow. Lots of positive feedback from everyone so thanks again....I will slow it down. For those who asked, I'm pretty sure I'm not asthmatic, only…
  • ME TOO!!!!
  • xena36....nice dog
  • I have an office job so set to Sedentary and add all my exercise and eat it all back (I'm a gannet and would rather do more exercise so I can eat more!) I don't have much weight to lose but seem to be losing a pound a week and I'm gaining muscle and fitness so well happy that I'm following the amounts correctly.
  • AMAZING...Big respect
  • I take Omeprazole and that works great except can't stomach alcohol or caffeine, Even a mouthful of either gives me terrible burning. Potatoes give a bit of indigestion but nothing major. Before I took Omeprazole had reflux and burning indigestion nearly all the time was getting really worried that something serious was…

  • Another hypothyroid here, only diagnosed a couple of years ago when I was so tired I could barely move. Also found out I was aneamic and had very low blood pressure too so no wonder really! I do find it more of a slog nowadays to keep my weight down but not sure if that's due to hypothyroid or just my age (I'm 46 now).…
  • Also love them on their own as a sneaky, steal something from the fridge snack without throwing my calorie count out the window
  • Junk food caused belly fat, I'm so glad I read this now, would never have figured that one
  • Mini Babybel light also Philladephia light. Big fan of both of these  The Philly spread is bit higher fat than the Laughing Cow but more tasty on toast or a jacket potato for my taste buds
  • I drink green tea but it is quite bitter until you get used to it. Try white tea (not tea with milk, proper white tea!) same health options but milder taste. It's my favourite. Both taste very different to normal black tea but do take a bit of getting used to. Start by not leaving the tea bag in too long then not such a…
  • Some good advice, needed to hear how I wouldn't feel any better after eating, even though I know it anyway! Should have mentioned I'm at work atm, office job and not busy so keep getting up to go for pee breaks to get me away from my desk and the temptation of biscuits. Will make up with hubby, even though was big row,…
  • I never tell anyone when I'm trying to lose weight. I also hate the fake, oh you've lost so much weight, bullsh** comments. Also for me, in case I fall on my face and put weight on don't want to have made a huge thing about losing and then knowing that everyone knows I've failed! So just keep my gob shut and if a proper…
  • Another one here in Ipswich, Suffolk but originally from Rogate, Hampshire. Feel free to add me anyone local to me

  • Me too with the back again bit. Was really good for ages, logging my food and keeping a check on me, then I started overeating and stopped tracking as it was too depressing! Back on track now....hopefully lol
  • Another Ipswich lady here. Lived here nearly 10 years now.
  • Ditto!!!!
  • I'm terrible for this when I'm cooking so I try and do things like wipe down the sides, load/unload the dishwasher, tidy a cupboard or something whilst I'm standing waiting for something to cook. Anything that means my hands are too busy to be in the fridge....unless they are cleaning it lol
  • I do exactly the same as the OP. Some good tips here to try. My evening cravings are so bad that I really feel like I'm depriving myself no matter what I've eaten in the daytime...grrrr
