  • I'm in San jose.
  • Yeah...it won't be the tattoo grossing the grandkids out when sunbathing At 80 Years old.
  • my acid reflux hits when i am eating horribly. also, regular coke and alcohol (and sometimes pizza) can make it happen. if i need quick relief, ill drink bakind soda in a glass of water. it tastes horrible but it works well for me (better than the pills)
  • I have been on a big green smoothie kick lately. My latest one is spinach or kale, protein powder, cherries, zucchini, fresh ginger, chia seeds, tsp of olive oil, frozen banana.. I change up the fruit and sometimes add cinnamon instead of ginger.
  • I'm doing weight watchers. For some reason, my brain does not like counting calories. I would love to have some more weight watchers friends (also, there is a group for weight watchers). FYI....there is a way to add a points column to myfitnesspal tracker. try doing a search for it.
  • I weigh every day. My official weigh in is on saturdaysSaturdays at my weight watchers meeting. It doesn't bother me if my weight fluctuates daily. I do it because seeing the number in the morning motivates me to eat right right and to exercise.
  • Your sister should ask for a referral to a Dietitian. Or look into the DASH diet.
  • Me! I'm getting married next year and we are going to start trying right after. So I would like to lose weight for the wedding and for getting pregnant. I have at least 50 pounds to lose.
  • I have the same problem. Its always at night when I am studying. It can be hard to lose weight while in school (especially if its nursing school like I am in) Are you getting enough sleep? I have noticed on days where I only get 5 or 6 hours (sometimes less), I tend to go crazy with the snacking later even when I make good…
  • I'm in. I am starting today. I'm getting married in October so I need to get my butt into gear. Feel free to add me.
  • i think you need a new doctor. High blood pressure can cause blindness. Its also a risk factor for glaucoma.
  • thanks for the great idea.
  • I'm in. The big day is in October so I need to get my butt in gear.
  • It is probably from working out. Or have a better diet than the rest of your family (low sodium, fruits/Veggies, etc). Or it could be you dodged the hypertension genetic bullet. Just because the rest of your family has something doesn't mean you will have it too.
  • I love dried seaweed. It takes care of the salty craving.
  • Potassium isnt required to be listed on food labels. A lot of entries for food on mfp have no potassium listed You are probably getting enough potassium if you have well balanced diet. You can google potassium rich foods You could take a supplement but OTC are only 3 % of the daily value.
  • the weight watchers material says eat to satisfaction (and dont eat it just because its 0 points). I would say if its less than 6 to 8 servings dont bother counting points. Anything more than that count it. Also keep an eye on the scale. If you are eating 10 servings of f/v and not losing weight, maybe start counting…
  • these all look great (esp the orange julius). thanks for posting.
  • yum..thanks for posting this
  • found it. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/822197-how-to-track-weight-watchers-points-on-mfp?hl=weight+watchers
  • I do weight watchers. For some reason its easier for me to count points than calories. I do online so its about 18 bucks vs 40 bucks a month. however, if you are looking for free. there is a way to add a points column on myfitnesspal. i dont know how to do it though. i'll try to find the page that said how to do it. I'll…
  • my goals are to take track everything, drink water, and exercise at least 30 minutes everyday.
  • I have had a guy tell me that he would date me if i was 50 pounds lighter (he was smoking outside the gym i was walking into). I told him that even if he was taller i still wouldnt date him. Im sure ive been called fat by strangers but it affect me enough to remember (i only remember that one because i came up with a…
  • so far so good. I've used all my dailies and 15 flex points (dang wine). However, I am done eating for the night and will partake in one small glass of champagne at midnight. I am struggling to stay up to midnight. 51 minutes to go!
  • I think if his dr isnt concerned, then i wouldnt be too worried about it. It is very common for kids to pack on the pounds/eat a ton and then have a growth spurt. Its like their body is preparing itself for the growth spurt. However, i do think you should continue keeping healthy options in the house. Have him go grocery…
  • My exercise routine is a work in progress. When i am on break from school, i walk the dogs for an hour each day (very hilly terrain). When I am in school, i don't really workout (bad, I know). I try to park in the back of parking lot and take the stairs at school (classrooms are on 3rd floor). I have a gym membership.…
  • my weigh in was yesterday. I gained 2.3 pounds. I was expecting it though. What i wasn't expecting is how hard it is to get back on track. I go back to school on monday. I think it will be easier to watch my points when i am in school 5 days week vs being at home or social events.
  • Hello everyone, I am a 30 yr old nursing student. I started weight watchers in 01/17/2012 and lost 30 pounds. I quit weight watchers in May. I gained and regained the same 5 pounds until the end of november (thats when i joined weight watchers again). I am down 7 pounds. My starting weight was 282, current weight is 250…
