I feel the same way, ladies. I'm open to new friends who are in this for the long haul.

I feel ya. A coworker keeps bragging about the 13 lbs. she's lost drinking weight loss shakes. In they same amount of time I've lost 25 lbs. by changing what I eat and working out. I've kept quiet about it, and she keeps bragging because she's trying to sell the shakes to everyone on staff. Needless to say she's on my last…

Started it today. I swear tonight was harder than the 20 minute run!

I just tackled day one of week 5 today. Not as bad as I thought. Not sure about the rest of the week. I'm fairly sure I can do day 2, but day 3???

I'm right there with you. I just turned 45 and really need to make some changes (oh, like lose 80 to 100 lbs). I've lost 21 lbs. so far. I've been exercising (C25K and some other stuff) four to five times a week and logging all my food. My husband and I are trying to eat more whole foods and most days I eat all the…

I'm so glad to read all these posts because I'm going to start week 5 this week and I'm a little freaked out by it all.

Holy crap you look good and your stomach is so flat!!! Motivating! Thanks for posting.

I measured and was down 3.75 inches! Pretty happy about it. In other news, I need some new pajamas. My favorite ones, which were big and comfy to begin with, are just about to fall off. Seriously. I stood up last night and they were hanging on my hips with the crotch between my knees. lol

Thanks for posting! You look wonderful and so much younger! Inspiring.

I just did day 1 of week 4 tonight. I'd been thinking about it all day and really didn't anticipate getting through it, but somehow I did! I'm still sort of in shock! lol The last 5 min. bit nearly killed me though. I was running r-e-a-l-l-y s-l-o-w-l-y by the end. My kids went with me. My daughter (10) ran with me. My son…

I'm 5'3" and have broad shoulders. The last time I was in an XL I was probably 180 to 190.

Love the pic in the yellow t-shirt! Great job!

Great post and good work!

I have only lost 18 pounds but... I can wear some pants in my closet that I couldn't button two months ago. I'm actually jogging a little (week 3 of C25K). I'm enjoying cooking new, healthier recipes for my family. My husband says he can now really see a change in my body. I'm proud of myself for finally taking control of…

That's the kind of stuff that I can't even start to eat because I don't want to stop! I sucked on a Diet Coke while everyone around me was chowing down on burgers, chicken fingers, bbq sandwiches and fries. I ate my packed lunch before we went out but it took all the willpower I had not to finish all their food (it's…

I lost 6 lbs last week! I've been working my rear off though, alternating between c25k and raking hay in the field (that burns a lot more calories than I thought). I know this will level off soon, so I'm going to enjoy it while I can!

I'm doing the challenge, and I'm so stinking excited to get on the scale tomorrow. I have somehow managed to stay off of it since last Wednesday, so I'm hoping I'll see a good result.

I like the floral one. Cute! You look great!

Okay, so as of the time I post this I'm officially the old lady on here! 44 for a couple more weeks (see how desperately I'm trying to hang on to it?), wife, mom of three (10,10, 12), sixth-grade teacher, Pinterest addict and Facebook junkie. Trying to lose the weight once and for all!

I think I'd like a new sports bra when I lose 20 lbs., but I told my husband yesterday that when I lose 41 (into ONEderland) I'm buying myself a bicycle. No thought to what I'll do after that

I so needed to see this today! Thanks for posting.

I've read Chia seeds are supposed to help. I bought a bag a few months ago and the first few weeks I was throwing them into everything I could think of (baked goods, smoothies, stir fry, whatever). They did seem to help me, but now I forget to add them. I have a friend who just recently told me she's been taking krill oil…

I completely agree! They don't have the willpower to change, so they don't want you to either. Human nature! Stick with it! I read on a message board the other day to say to people, "I don't eat that," instead of "I can't eat that." I thought that little mind trick was a particularly good idea.

http://www.budgetsavvydiva.com/2012/03/crock-pot-chicken-chili-recipe/ I just had this chicken chili tonight and it was wonderful! It does take low fat cream cheese, but that could easily be omitted. I also found a recipe once for Hawaiian Chicken Chili that had pineapple in it. I know that sounds weird but it was good too.
