I LOVE Supernatural! I'll PM you.

I'll put my goal out there to walk my three dogs individually each day from now to end of the year. Sometimes I walk 2 together, but I'll do 20min each.

Brown Sugar Pop Tarts with the frosting. I don't know why they even bother to make Pop Tarts without the frosting, that should be against the law.

10/01: 212.6 10/04 - 213.2 (+0.6) 10/11 - 212.6 (-0.6) 10/19 - 212.4 (-0.2) Stuck at 212... this week I need to step it up a bit by logging my foods and doing more exercise than I have been (which is NONE) Goals still: 1. Get and STAY below 200 by Thanksgiving and through Christmas 2. Only buy groceries for a few days…

10/01: 212.6 10/04 - 213.2 (+0.6) 10/11 - 212.6 (-0.6) Heading in the right direction, but would have liked a bigger loss. I haven't exercised this week other than walking, so I need to step it up and I have the Zumba class tomorrow. 1. Get and STAY below 200 by Thanksgiving and through Christmas 2. Only buy groceries for…

LW: 212.6 TW: 213.2 (+0.6) That's ok - I can explain every 1/10th of point increase, but no excuses, I will be down next week :drinker: My three goals - I did well on 2 out of 3 and we have plenty of weeks left to get into the groove. 1. Get and STAY below 200 by Thanksgiving and through Christmas 2. Only buy groceries for…

You sound a lot like me "all or nothing". I keep getting so close to under 200 lbs, and then BANG like some weird thing clicks in my head and I'm completely off track and find myself up 10-12 lbs, starting all over again. I just have to accept that this is a roller coaster ride for me, and that one day I will get to <200…

CW: 212.6 My three goals: 1. Get and STAY below 200 by Thanksgiving and through Christmas 2. Only buy groceries for a few days worth of meals at one time (I keep too much food available, even if it's good food I eat it) 3. Go to at least 1 Zumba class per week over the next 3 months

I figured out how to join a group; learned something new today. I'd like to join your group if you would have me. I've been off and on MFP since 2009 and find that the challenges are always the best way to stay focused because there are many like minded folks all working towards a goal. My three goals: 1. Get and STAY…

Congrats to all of you! Please keep up with your non-smoking. I've been smoke free for 12 years and 1 month. This is from a a former 1.5 to 2 pack a day smoker. First thing I'd do in the morning, and last thing I'd do at night. On a Saturday morning I could go through 1/2 pack with a few good cups of coffee and reading a…

It was my 7,288th attempt at quitting that I finally said "NO MORE". This coming Tuesday will be my 13th year smoke free. I'm counting down the days that I'm past the # of years that I smoke vs. not smoked, 17 in total. Was I a "real smoker" do you ask?...yes, started out at 1/2 pack as a kid (only 14) and graduated to 1…

I'll join you Stephanie!!!

Agreed! Everyday is "starting again" Lol and in our case it's "STAHTIN AGIN" :)

Thank you all for your insights. I'm noting many recommendations :) I think I have to look at motivation this way: What if you lost $1,000 cash in your house, what would you do? How would you look? Would you stop looking until you found it again? Would you sit down and cry? Have concerns about where it may have went? Or…

I resolve to the fact that I throw the shells away because they're not good for me to eat (although I'm sure they're edible in some form), so I treat the yolks no different than the shell now. And since I looked at them that way, I've not had many regrets about tossing them. I do eat whole eggs here and there, and I…

I was on a cooking magazine website today and saw a picture of how they cooked their eggs in a creative way. They took sliced pepper rings (a green, a red, a yellow) and cooked the egg inside the ring. Looked neat. Otherwise I like hard boiled egg whites first thing in the morning, and then on alternate days I cook eggs in…

I like your tattoo. When I saw it my first reaction was "cool, that is a unique tattoo". Well to be honest everyone's tattoo is unique, but for some reason I just thought yours was super neat. I love looking at other people's tattoos, you are all like walking art museums. I don't have any myself, just "ideas".

You do not have a cat in your picture

I know exactly what you mean, and you just need to keep coming here every day, checking in with your friends and looking around at how others are doing. Don't worry, your motivation will come back, it's like a roller coaster ride, you have your ups and downs but as long as you keep getting on the ride, it will work out.

Is it too late to join this group? One of my friends email me a few days ago on this, but I just got back into MFP today and found the topic. If it's not too late to join do I email my starting weight or post it here?
