I'm 5'9" and my goal weight is 148. I've got a medium frame based on the wrist test. But to be honest, I'd be thrilled to get down to 168 (the lowest I've been as an adult)...right now I'm 215.

Got tickets to the gun show? : ) Congratulations! You look great!

I'm a skim milk and 2 splendas girl myself. But every now and then I mix it up and do white chocolate caramel latte liquid coffeemate. It's sweet enough for me that I don't need the splenda. It's 35 calories for a tablespoon. But you're right.....I would not function in the morning without that cup of coffee!

Way to go!

I ran/walked on the treadmill for 35 minutes today. It's been crummy outside the past couple of days and I can't wait to run/walk outside again! I'm planning on starting 30DS bright and early in the AM! Tomorrow's plan consists of 30DS (Day 1) and if the weather holds up, taking my son a nice long walk to the park (it has…

My official weigh-in is Wednesdays. I'm part of a weight loss support group via Facebook (I'm looking for motivation, encouragement, and support anywhere I can get it!) and that's when we weigh in. The group is called Mama Laughlin's Fit Camp and spurred from this woman in TX and her blog: www.mamalaughlin.com. Her blog is…

My name is Angela. I'm 31 and I'm married with a three-year-old son. I just moved with my family from MA to MD for my husband's job. I'm starting a new part-time job next week and will be starting grad school classes tomorrow! My starting weight is 221, my current weight is 216.6 and my goal weight is 148 (I'm 5'9"). I've…

I'm so close! May 22 here!

bump.....I'm curious to hear other people's responses too. I've been running/walking and I'm planning on adding 30DS to my daily workout routine next week.....

Me! I'm in!

My waist, my stomach, and sadly.....my boobs. I have a feeling that once I get to my goal weight I'll be back down to the A-cup I was before I had my son. Why can't I lose the weight from my butt, my arms, and my thighs? Grrrr......

Bump! I'm on a tight budget too and can't wait to look at all the great websites posted!

Way to go! Definitely a great NSV! I'm training for my 1st 5K on Columbus Day weekend...

It's not stupid at all. I'm a bit bigger myself (5'9", 217 lbs) and I'm just starting to run again (I used to pretty consistently about 2 years ago). And it's a slow process. I can run without stopping if I REALLY push for 20 minutes. My fastest mile so far is 13:20. I used to run a 10 minute mile in high school! Anyway,…

I don't think it's wheat withdrawal symptoms. I'm gluten intolerant, so the second I got rid of the gluten that was in my diet (and that was definitely a challenge because I'm a carbaholic!), I felt so much better. It might be withdrawal from sugar/carbs in general. My husband and I went on a low carb diet a few years ago…

Hooray! Keep up the great work. I can't wait for the day when I look BETTER than I did in high school and/or college. Please post before/after pics when you get them. Seeing different people's success stories and before/afer pics definitely keeps me motivated!

I just got back from running a mile. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Woo hoo! Great job and keep up the good work. I'm about 15 pounds away from no longer being in the obese category. Can't wait to reach "overweight" status...

Great job and congratulations with the weight loss so far. It's great that your family has jumped on the weight loss bandwagon with you. I also think you bring up a good point that we should be logging on and entering info every day, even on our bad days so we can grow and learn from our mistakes. I'm only on Day 5, and I…

You look amazing. Definitely an inspiration to me!

I have a 3 year old son. My starting weight was 219 and my goal weight is 148. I'm 5'9". My weaknesses are ice cream, chocolate, and cheese (although I'm a big fan of carbs too!)....let's do this!

What an awesome NSV! I can't wait for a day like that! Keep up the great work!

Happy Friday indeed! Keep up the great work!

What a great post! I just moved from MA to MD, and I'll definitely be referring back to this when I drive up to MA to visit family on Columbus Day weekend! Thanks!

I just started this week (Monday to be exact) on MFP. Your story brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for sharing your story. It truly inspires me to keep going. I can't wait for next year so I can post similar before and after pictures! Your arms are AMAZING! What exercises do you do? (reps, weights,…

My son is 3 and I can finally say he's potty trained! WOO HOO! My hubby and I have struggled with this for over 6 months. The first thing I will tell you is that it's absolutely true what they say. It's so much harder to train boys. My son for the longest time could have cared less if he peed or pooped in his pull-up. To…
