  • Hey dear. Just wanted to throw my thoughts out there for you. I agree with HBazzal and alot of the other posts on here for you. Big thing is that you are doing great and you will continue to do great. Having someone there to support you and hold you accountable would deff keep you going. Find something different and…
  • From what i am gathering it is deff due to the water loss causing the meat to be more dense which that would make the counts change. From looking at your posting i see they did make a change in the weight of the food serving to, i think, compinsate for the water. I am not a mathmatics guy or a nutrition expert so that…
  • If I eat prior to strength training or cardio it is light and about 1-2 hours before. Something easy to digest and not too heavy or a large amount. Normally i dont eat before a workout though since i go in the mornings anyway.
  • Very true dear. It does take time and if you let it go you may have to start over again. If you still smell good after a workout, then it aint work!
  • Agree with the above post for the BMR. Just use the calculator for BodyFat. MFP's calculator for BMR is pretty accurate and easy to follow system.
  • It looks awesome dear.
  • Hey dear, I will start out and say you are going to do fine. You have made the steps a few times in the right direction, now you need to stick to it. You know what to do and how to do it. You need support for this. I know you love your boyfriend and he loves you. You and him need to sit down and have a serious talk about…
  • Yeah, i do the gym mainly myself. As for the swimming, once you get the hang of it and get a good stroke going it can be a great cardio exercise. After about 200m i hate swimming, lol. if those three days are not that taxing then i say yeah, do some more. Do some more cardio if that is what you like or set up a routine in…
  • Hey, you can add me if you like. I love to help people with some motivation. I have a few friends that are the same on here. I really do enjoy this site and will be on it as long as i can be. Have a great day and i know the change will happen. It just takes time and some dedication. Sometimes the process is slow and you…
  • I use exercise in the gym and cardio workouts to help. I was getting terrible for a while with things going on so i needed a focus point. Back home i drank and got on the computer. I dont have the beer here and the computer online part is not good enough to allow me to get on a game. I started to hit the gym and exercise.…
  • Forget the toxic friends, you are making progress. you have been working out and lost a good amount of weight. you gained some muscle back so you weigh a little more. 10lbs is still a great loss and you are getting in shape. your measurments are going down so that is great. here is a link that i use for BMI, BMR, and body…
  • I look at it this way. Are you losing the weight you wanting to? Are you feeling good from the exercise? If just started to workout then you are fine with 3 days a week. Once your body is used to the exercise then boost it up and do some more. Dont do more then your body will physically allow. Push your body to the limits…
  • This place has been great for me. i love being here and the support of the people on here is awesome. After something hard like that this is the perfect time to make a change and do it up right. good luck hon.
  • Same with the Cals with the water and milk advice. I add some L-glutamine with it since i am getting old or if it is a hard workout day and i know it will hurt the next morning more then usual. I just dont use it all the time.
  • My new one for today:
  • Try a cycling machine or a sauna while you are reading if you can. Keeping busy in some way and keeping your mind off of the food is the way to go. I have done some reading and prep for tests in a sauna and on the bike before. Just pack up a bag of your books and hit the gym. Get about 45 minutes or more of cardio and…
  • I have been using this site for about 4 days now and i love it. I also use JeFit for the gym workouts. So far the people on here have been great. I hope you enjoy it and the support here has been great. Make some short term goals and a long term one and keep pushing. Good luck and have fun.
  • Keep pushing. You have a long term goal, make some short term ones so you can feel progress in shorter periods. if you are doing 20 minutes of cardio push to 30 then push to 35. the small triumphs help to get to the big one and you feel good doing it. good luck and have fun.
  • I agree with DispatcherSal, sleep wont hurt you expecially if you are doing a hard routine. You need rest anyway expecially with a 6 month old and 3 year old. My wife and I just had our second child and she is 3 months old, the oldest is 7 years and still a handful. Dealing with children are a workout alone. Good luck and…
  • if you listen to music with itunes or anything that has the time of each song on it you can get a base time from the total of all the songs you listened to. i have a playlist that i use the eliptical machine to that puts me at a 1930 3mile time if i stay to the beat of the music. Yeah, i get bored sometimes on my off days…
  • I have noticed the same with the MFP calorie counter. I kinda use a combination of the machine that i am on and my iPod. My iPod has the Nike+ app that can connect and record information from some machines you use or you can use it running on the treadmill as if you were running outside. I have a heart rate monitor watch…
  • NP if you have any questions i will try to help.
  • I found this last 2 weeks of a 8 week schedule for you. i have trained for runs before and this is about what i have done so the principle of it seems true. If you stick to the principle and do what you can on those days you should see a benifit. The CT is for cross training. I hope this is a help in some way shape or…
  • If you do decide to get the gym membership there is a website and application for phones that can really help out. I use JeFit for tracking my progress and goals. It is a free app and registration so i gave it a shot. You can make your own routines or use others that have already been made in the database. each exercise…
  • I try for 400 calories burned a day, 2800 a week. i am going through a cutting phase right now and do a lot of lifting in the gym and cardio everyday. I feel great so far on this schedule so i will continue to push it. My intake for what this site is saying is supposed to be about 1900 a day for a 1lb a week loss.
  • Gratz on the great job. you look great.
  • Big thing for the insanity type workouts is eat right, fluids, and try to set it up at a time where nothing will interrupt you. It can be a pain to start and stop all the time. I did the P90x for about 1.5 months but had to stop for various reasons and i hated when i would start my workout then have to stop and take care…
