  • and i don't see where this is a divisive topic. it has been very inclusive. many aspects of prayer, meditation, etc. have been invited and involved.
  • i concur that this post can stay right here in the main forum. i mean, he is looking for Motivation and Support right?? (not really looking for an answer to this question) once again the Christians can be quiet and move to your private forums so not to offend anyone. everyone else be loud and proud. if you don't like the…
  • NO, NO you didn't just post mini eggs! oh, arrggg. now i have to eat them. these are human kryptonite. must......have.....mini......eggs
  • Currently drinking ON, Gold Standard. i will probably switch back to the muscletech phase8 when done. ON is good and mixes decent. the phase8 is the best i have tried yet as far taste and mixology. for a little more $ i would like to switch back. i have also tried cellucor and trutein. both were decent. phase8 wins out.
  • i have done both and prefer the ripped as well. i like the mix of exercises better. all around a better workout.
  • i just bought some ON. i wanted to try it again since i have had muscletech phase8 a couple times now. ON is good and great quality. however, i usually have to mix ON and let sit for a bit and then mix again to get it fully blended. the flavor is good. but i think i will be going back to phase8. it mixes excellent, and the…
  • i use the you are your own gym app. has a lot of body weight exercises that don't require jumping around. i think i paid 2.99. was worth it. you can put together programs or follow the few that come with it. a sturdy table and pullup bar would be good to have.
  • noted, researched, still drinking muscletech.
  • DING DING DING, winner winner chicken dinner. i have tried Optimum Nutrition - always good, great quality stuff. trutein - wasn't bad, mixed well. cellucor - good, mixed well, a little grity. Phase 8 - holy smokes batman, the peanut butter choco is amazing. chocolate, yes please. i love mixing in a serving of sugar free…
  • love me some artificial sweeteners. pass the splenda/sucralose/sweetnlow/aspartame please. i personally don't have any issues downing an insane amount of artificial sweeteners and still being able to eat at maintenance or a deficit. they have not affected me or my eating negatively. i have no science to prove or back up…
  • maybe stop thinking every post is about YOU. just because the word "you" is in it doesn't mean it is about you. i did read every post. some have issues, noted. if i was directing this at someone other than OP i would have quoted them. the OP asked, Share your story. i obliged. only in the hopes of being helpful. i don't…
  • yep, just a way to limit my intake. if i limit myself to two meals and 8 hours i am a lot less likely to go over, that much. even on splurge days(holidays, b-days) i limit to 2 meals and/or 8 hrs. i still have to eat a deficit to lose. but the IF leangains style and hitting macros has helped me maintain and lose. there is…
  • it is only as hard as you want to make it. all the trial and error and learning i have done over the past year has made it easy. i know what i need to do. still eat the same as when losing, just a few hundred more cals. wanna cut a few lb's, cut a few hundred cals. if i am going to eat big for a holiday or b-day i just…
  • because, BACON
  • like the other said. i regularly get 30-35 of fiber by eating broccoli/carrots/beans and 9 grain cracked cereal/oatmeal. and that is on 1800 cals lately as i am going from maintain to cutting some lb's. although my carbs are set to 200+ and as wolf was alluding to, drop some of the protein and replace with carbs maybe. it…
  • nope. i can't allow myself to get burnt out on the stuff i eat. had to change my mindset on what food is to me. no longer a reward type mindset, but it is just fuel. yea, now and then i still indulge, but if i get fed up with this and that i will go back to what was making me fat, eating what ever i wanted cause it was…
  • you nailed it. love the phase 8. best ever. the last couple times i was able to get a BOGO on BB.com on the 2 lbs. just bought a 4 pounder of choco. a little dust on the hands, do you find yourself licking it off too???!!! i might have to try vanilla next time.
  • i have done the shred and ripped. prefer the ripped workouts. i think it was like $5-$9 on amazon instant video. she also has a good kettle bell one that is free for Prime. anyway, it is a workout. you will sweat some and burn some calories. so if you are looking for a way to burn a few cals. go for it. it won't get you…
  • not too far off your goal. if you are adding in some type of workout program just try to hit calorie goals. see how it goes after several weeks and adjust down by 200 cals if needed. i keep seeing people mention greek yogurt, making me hungry for some 4% greek.
  • body stats? goals? one of your other posts says you want to maintain LBM. you consistently do not get enough protein. might want to look into something like TDEE -20. stick with it for weeks, check progress, adjust up/down. set your macros and eat them. get protein. don't neglect fats. just my humble opinion.
  • i use the YAYOG as an app on my phone. i would say it is worth the $3 i paid. has a lot of exercises i would never have thought of. i did one of the ten week plans and starting the next one now. it is good for a 20-40 min workout but i usually throw in sprints/cardio, or a Jillian workout along with it. some of the days on…
  • but it is still FF yogurt. the difference is not just the fat content but the creaminess and taste. i found some 4% a while back, oh so heavenly. way better than FF. cottage cheese is the same way. 4% is way better taste and the creamy goodness. but yea, can't find it too often.
  • the wife and i just had ours blood profiles done for life insurance purposes. quick back round, i lost 30 lbs and have been able to maintain the loss for over a yr now. 38 yrs old, 5'8", 165. family history not good, mom had triple bypass at 44. so my cholesterol came back at 206, LDL at 132, HDL at 63, LDL/HDL ratio 2.1,…
  • of course not. i can't do the black coffee. so sucralose, splenda, creamer, whatever. it all goes in. i eat splenda by the table spoon. i put it in my cottage cheese, greek yogurt, coffee, you name. oh man, that vanilla sucrlose coffee sweetener at the dollar tree, love it. do it up. according to the interwebs i should not…
  • i have fallen in love with the MuscleTech Phase 8 stuff. the taste is amazing. i can't speak for vanilla as i have only had the chocolate and PB choco, but if the vanilla tastes as good as those. and BB.com had BOGO on the 2 lbs recently. i just use it cause to get 223 grams of protein just by eating chicken and eggs or…
  • Vitamix BAM! it will liquify whatever greens you throw at it. pricey. but i have regretted it. quite possibly be the last blender you buy. as opposed to replacing standard blender after standard blender like i did for yrs.
  • not sure the presets are necessary. a majority of recipes you switch it on turn up to 10 and flip the ludicrous speed button. only grinding coffee have i ever really used a lower speed, most it is just high speed. recipe book is a good guide. gives you an idea of how to use the machine. good baseline. and some decent…
  • i researched for weeks on a blender. ninja, bullet, vitamix, blendtec, etc, etc. ended up with the Vitamix. i will probably never have to buy another blender. awesome. yea, the regular ones work and i may not use it every day. but i can't tell you how many of the regular ole blenders i went through and replaced. after it…
