I have noticed something in these arguments. Everyone looks at the populations tested in these studies in china and the Philippines we actually have a huge population that we can study right now.... Weightlifters. The have been eating high protein for 40-50 years. I don't see a rash of colon CA, or kidney failure in…

I am a nurse, and people who have colonoscopies do this all the time. They stop eating about 5 pm. Only clear liquids the next day, all night again with no food, test done they get to eat. It is well over 36 hours AND they have a colon cleanse. Talk about being empty. I did this two weeks ago. I was hungry but not…

Not sure how clean you are wanting to eat but you could add ice cream to your protein shakes also. Get a big tub of decent ice cream and throw a cup or so in there.

Eggs and healthy fats. Nuts are a good source, avocados, full fat milk, cheese. Yogurt..have to watch the sugar tho. Try not to get the sweetened ones.

I am a nurse too. Just track your food, be honest you will be amazed at how many calories are in the take away food. It's a real eye opener. Learn what a portion really is by measuring. Take healthy food to work, or if eating in the cafeteria pick healthy choices. It's easier to diet at work because you are so busy. So…

Sounds like your estrogen is low. Especially if your periods are not normal or very short. When you are very thin, or in starvation mode, estrogen production stops. Estrogen has a lot to do with periods and leaking issues amongst other things. You need to have your hormones tested.

What Carlos said....and it takes about 2-3 years for lungs to completely heal and be as a non smoker. Providing COPD has not set in yet. Running greatly increases the lungs capacity as well as strengthen the heart. That is why some of you are seeing good improvement with running. The sleeplessness and anxiety stops in…

I was just talking to someone on here about this earlier and I found this thread, lol. I love the stuff. The female DR. Who wrote Eat Fat, Lose Fat swears by it. She has a healthy oil mix she mentions in her book called Mary's Oil Gently melt 1 cup of extra virgin coconut oil over very low heat until liquid Mix in a glass…

I went back thru your macros...you are way low on protein and your carbs jumped from roughly 150's range to almost 275-300. Your going to hold a lot of water and carbs go straight to fat if you are not burning them off. My personal experience...I have been slowly upping my calories, monitoring my carbs, keeping protein…

It takes a lot longer to get the extra fat off. Keep at it, it will come off. I was like that too. I kept at it and I have loose skin but the grabby fat is getting smaller. I started at the beginning of August to give you a time frame for how long it took me. Every one is different. Just keep going.

Well this is day two for me. I decided to give it a go. I am doing 16/8 window. It ends up being more 6 hours tho. I am hungry in the mornings but not famished. No blood sugar issues yet. I do have brain fog from about 7am until I eat. From everything I have read this should resolve in a few days. My goal is not to lose…

I wish I could do the lean gains way, but I have to lift/exercise really early in the am. I work 12 hour days shifts. If I wait till lunch to eat that would be 4-5 post work out.
