Normally I don't address issues like this, but I am this time. To the person who listed all the benefits of being fat. Here is one benefit you haven't listed: health problems such as hypertension, diabetes, cancer and heart attack. So you need to add that to your list.

Eat a lot of protein and but down on carbs especially at night. If you eat carbs, it should be morning only or at the very least morning and lunch. Try adding more vegetables and fruts as well. If you are not eating right, the amount of calories is meaningless.

If you love to dance, Zumba is one of the best ways to exercise and have fun. You will loose inches if you put your all into it. I have!

At Zumba Class a lady in the back had on a sweater, dress pants and dress shoes and was trying to do Zumba! Needless to say, she did not last long. Oh yeah, her boyfriend or husband in jeans was trying it too. He lasted all of 10 minutes.

Totally disagree. I once went on the Atkins diet. I lost a lot of weight. But as soon as I was able to start eating regularly again, I not only gained what I lost and then some. I was on diaretics for a long time. I ended up getting deyhyrdrated. When I went off of them, it was like detox for my body. My legs swelled up really bad. But little by little it calmed down. I now drink a lot of water and watch my sodium.

I like unsweetened Almond Milk, Silk or Blue Diamond, and Protein Plus Special K cereal. Sometimes it is gluten free Rice Chex.

Sometimes it is water retention. I started retaining water when I was in my 50's. Bagels, biscuits, lunch meat, cheese and pretzels have a lot of sodium. Drink a lot of water and try cutting down on the sodium. Are you tracking sodium? That helps keep me on track with that. Also mix it up with both your meals and exercise.…

I now use smoked paprika instead of brown sugar. Less calories and I found out now I can taste the potato more. If you need to add fiber to your diet, sweet potatoes have a lot of fiber.

You sound like you are a perfect size for your height. Most people who tell you that you are too thin, dare I say it....are generally overweight. You are proud of yourself and you should be. Stay focused and don't let anyone keep you from maintaining what you accomplished. :flowerforyou:

I put in general aerobics for my Zumba. I love my Zumba class. You will literally dance your butt off. :bigsmile: I have lost weight but not just with Zumba. It is MFP and exercise on a whole.

I did WW some time ago. I lost the weight and gained it back. While WW is good, it does not track individual items like protein, fiber, sodium, sugar, etc. I retain water. I track sugar too. I use Splenda blend in my coffee. It is better than straight Splenda and you don't use as much. Plus it isn't in packets so you can judge what you use.
