Yes, as long as one is willing to put in the time and effort to not only cook ever meal, but also shop the sales. Before you even enter the grocery store you had better have a list of the only things you're planning to buy based on what's on sale and what necessities you need for the week/month. And have coupons ready to…

Plan, plan, plan your meals in advance. Do you shop for groceries once a week? Look at the weekly ads to see what's on sale, especially the veggies and fruit, and determine what meals for the upcoming weak you can make out of them including nutritional information. When you go to the store buy only the necessities to make…

It was definitely visible in my face first, then stomach and arms. Now I have no idea, although I would LOVE for my thighs to start losing something. Never seems like they change.

I've developed the bad habit of weighing myself every morning. I can see how this can be bad and good... for me it gives me a bit of an idea of how I did the day before with food and exercise and whether or not I need to improve.

Yep. Diet Pepsi for me. I know, it doesn't taste as amazing as regular Pepsi, but it's 0 calories sooooo. I'm a bit of a soda addict so there's no way I'd be able to quite entirely or find a better/healthy substitute, so if I have to drink diet, I have to drink diet. Once in a while I'll go for regular soda like at a…

2010, about 2 years before joining the site, I believe I was around 190 something. Heaviest ever. Now I'm at 155.8 as of this morning. Lowest I've been while losing weight was 153.6 almost a year ago, but gained a bit back as I slacked off and went on a soda crazy.

Sometimes I don't shave for quite some time. Totally support women who don't shave at all. Quite awesome that they choose to go natural and be themselves because hey- women are humans and humans have hair. Get over it.

I weigh myself every morning and input that weight and day into excel so it automatically adds to my weight loss/gain graph and I can get an overall picture as to how I'm doing. I find that more motivating.

I am "restarting" it. Tried it months ago, and gradually stopped within the week. Started Level 1 today and will hopefully do it for the full 30 days.

First I was losing it for health. Then when I lost 30+ lbs and entered a "healthy weight range" for my height, I continued for vanity reasons.

Haven't run yet, and I lose weight.. .slowly, but surely. Look for substitutes that you enjoy- like I prefer swing dancing. Can't stand running, but you could never get me to stop dancing.

I'll snack as late as I want to/feel like it.... go to bed anywhere from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Soup, hashbrowns, sliced thin and baked, home cut fries, various hot dishes or as people not from minnesota call them- "casseroles".... mashed then use leftovers by frying them in a pancake shape....

Mine tends to bring me large chocolate bars randomly, even though he knows i'm kind of watching what I eat. And I tend to eat them because I feel guilty, they're there, and chocolate is generally amazing.

Definitely self control Make sure you're well aware as you make the treats, or when you first see them, that you CAN have a few, but that's it... a few. It's better than constantly telling yourself "I can't have any. They're unhealthy. I'll add calories. Can't have any." Because that will just lead to you eventually eating…

Similar thing happened to me. Thankfully since I left him an awkward pause, he brought it up later.... and I just told him that I thought he had said it too fast. Then the same thing happened again later.... only this time I didn't say it because it's just awkward... people in my family don't use the L word. Thankfully he…

Portion control. I'm DEFINITELY having all the foods I love... but unlike other holidays in the past... I wont go overboard on the amount I take of each. A little bit of everything, maybe a slight bit more of the things I absolutely love and don't eat often... Also going to resort to water for beverage... usually I'd do…

Yeahhhh..... I went on a weekend trip and gained about 3 lbs.... First step is complete--- recognizing that you've made poor decisions. Now you just have to want to work to fix it. Get out there, get active.

I count what my day is from the moment I wake up to the moment I fall asleep. So put the calories into that total day... save some calories for later at night if you know this happens often and choose a snack then that'll fit. Maybe something warm/comforting that will also help you sleep.

Bacon, moist german chocolate cake, pasta and LOTS of it.....

Ugh. I was on like... .day 11 or something... but then school work caught up with me along with other activities. I should definitely start it up again because I was most certainly seeing improvement.

Good writer. Had an essay published in one of the textbooks my college uses for a required English course. Was told to publish one of my stories. WILL BE self publishing a novel of mine in the near future. I make miniature food/flowers clay jewelry and have been getting better at it with practice. Good actor.

Cafeteria meals aren't always bad.... I have a meal plan at my college, and they offer a ton of different choices. Just need to have self control if they have a junkier food type section. Otherwise.... fruits/veggies.... eggs.... sandwich meats...various things that don't need refrigeration--- soup, nuts, bread...

Yep. Wrong women. I can't speak for all females, but for those like myself, we like someone that will be slightly confident and start up a conversation with us. But I get where you're coming from with people being superficial and whatnot.... not a lot of guys gave me the time of day until I started losing weight. And I…

I went to classes... did my homework.... watched some tv.... went to bed. Drinking doesn't interest me.
