Aldi has a lot of brown rice pasta and organic pasta sauce with out sugar. I've also been eating their rice packets-- 7 grains and quinoa and brown rice. They've been amazing and one whole packet is about 550 calories. Also, I made vegetarian chili Sunday. This was so good and very filling!

I am doing it too, so glad you posted. I am only doing 1 mile a day on my rest days as well (3-4 miles three days a week). I was wondering about doing the 40 days straight and injuries. Hope it doesn't happen. I'll friend you so we can motivate each other.

You can definitely do this. I ran the Boston Marathon in less than 5 hours after NOT training and never running more than 6 miles--EVER. Our bodies are capable of so much more than we ever know. I find that Trader Joe's has some reasonable organic fruits and vegetables, as well as meats. On the subject of GMO's. I find it concerning that Japan does not allow GMO's in any of their foods; Several countries in the European Union label GMO's or ban them. This alone should make you wonder? It does me. I don't eat past 7:30 and it has really helped me! Brush your teeth, like you said, and after that you won't want anything else to eat (or at least let's hope this happens :) Good luck~ you can do it!

Your grandmother's coke didn't have high fructose corn syrup made from GMO's. Why is there such an obesity epidemic in adults and children in this country? It's obvious because of what is in our food!

To be honest what motivates/stops me is the fact that I have to log it in MFP. I hate to see the calories go way over, so that usually stops me from eating a large amount of food. You are 100% right MapleFlavour. I would love to see these people in 5... 10 years. DIETS don't work. It's all about a lifestyle. When you severely limit/ eliminate certain foods you used to enjoy then that's when you eventually binge on them and gain the weight back. Might work for now, but I doubt it will be easy to…

I think you are doing pretty well. Looks like a lot of Mexican food (my fav!!!). You might want to look at your sodium intake from Chipolte and your fat grams. Overall, keep up the good work!

I would not eat it because sugar first thing in the morning tends to put me on a downward spiral the rest of the day. I just was tempted with donuts, bagels and cupcakes in the mail room. I reluctantly said no. Remember nothing tastes as good as thin feels. Someone said that on here this week. Love that saying!!!!

I've been worried about this too. I LOVE guacamole, chips and Corona. Not too mention chips, dip, cheese and crackers, LOL. I had a plan to run in the late afternoon so maybe my metabolism will still be higher. I can feel it's going to already be a day with a higher food intake though. Anyone else have any good suggestions?
