  • Your goals look great! Here's my goals for the rest of January: Try not to eat back my exercise calories 90% of the time Swim at least 3x a week Lose 3lbs/at least 1/2" on arms, legs and stomach Make sure I get at least 8 glasses of water/day Who else is in?!
  • Great idea! I'm new here but would love to find some other "not that heavy girls" to keep me motivated. I'm a very supportive friend on here and I always like hearing about new workouts or food ideas. Anyone, feel free to add me :) I'm 5'0" HW 152 CW 145 GW 125 I'm curvy (as in, hourglass figure!) and I love weightlifting…
  • Hi ladies! I'm 5'0" with 20lbs to use. I could definitely also use some more friends with similar goals to keep me motivated. Feel free to add me :)
  • I usually have a bowl of GF rice or corn Chex with skim milk or some nonfat vanilla yogurt with fruit or mini chocolate chips. I'm a big snacker so I don't do huge breakfasts but I do snacks like walnuts and raisins or fruit/veggies a few hours after I first eat breakfast.
  • I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia so I understand the pain. I've found that swimming works really well. Do you have access to a pool? There's a gym near me that has a heated pool which is great on sore joints. Even if you're not swimming rigorously, just walking in the shallow end of the pool is great exercise…
  • Bi girl here. Would love to have some more motivating friends on MFP. Anyone, feel free to add me :)
  • I'd suggest swimming if you can. I've got fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis and I find swimming to be fantastic. Especially if you can find a heated pool - it feels amazing! You can start out slow and then just do whatever you feel comfortable with. If a pool isn't an option I'd suggest some light weightlifting -…
  • I'm on injectable metho and it seems to be working pretty well for me. I was never on the pills, I just started straight off with the injections. I got some nausea when I started, but it's almost completely gone now. My biggest issue is that I've been giving myself bruises lately when I inject and so my right upper thigh…
  • Sending you a friend request! :) Anyone else on this thread - feel free to add me. We could all use more friends to keep us accountable!
  • Reading your story made me tear up a bit. You are so strong and tough for going through all that and to be able to come out smiling. I wish you all the best of luck in everything you do! I'm so sorry your family was not accepting of you, you don't deserve that. You seem like a wonderful person, don't let them get you down!
  • I've sent friend requests to all of you ladies :) It's good to hear that there are other people out there dealing with this pain and fatigue and still loosing weight and getting in shape! Hopefully we can all help each other through the pain to the success.
  • Hey! I'm a little out of your age range (I'm 24), but I started at 150 and I'm trying to get down to 125. I'm at 146 now and could definitely use a buddy to keep me working out and motivated! Add me as a friend if you want :)
  • I think popcorn is a great snack! It's filling and fun and feels like a junk food but since it's got so much fiber it can really fill you up. I like to pop mine in a paper bag in the microwave and then add about 1tsp of melted butter, some parmesan cheese, cayenne & chopped garlic to it. Makes it super tasty!
  • Hey there! I'm also in my 20s (24) with no kids. I'm from Oregon but living in New Orleans now! Just sent you a friend request - let's keep each other motivated! I never played sports and have some serious physical limitations, but I love working out and just need help keeping motivated even when I'm tired :) I'm 5'0",…
  • Hey! I'm new to both MFP and weight loss, but I'm looking for more friends on here to keep me accountable. Since I just started this journey I'm not 100% what'll work for me, but I really love the social aspect of MFP...add me if you want :)
  • I could definitely use one as well. I keep convincing myself to just take the dog on a walk instead of going all the way to the gym so I could definitely use someone to push me to go to the gym! Add me if you'd like. As far as going those last few minutes, I like to go as fast as I can for like 2 minutes then slow for 30…
  • Hey there! I'm 24
  • Hey there! I'm 5'0" and 149 - looking to get down to 125. I just joined MFP but I'd love to be motivational buddies if you're interested. Feel free to add me!
  • I'm in the same boat as most of you - I just joined MFP and would love some RA friends. Add away! I was just diagnosed with RA in September. What does everyone do for workouts? I like using the elliptical machine at the gym - it's the only thing that doesn't kill my knees and I could spend hours lifting weights if it…
  • Hi all! I'm 24 years old and I just got diagnosed in September. Apparently I have sero-negative RA so it took a while for a doctor to diagnose me. . I also have Celiac (diagnosed 3.5 years ago) and FIbromyalgia (diagnosed in December 2011). I'm currently taking methotrexate injections twice a week and folic acid for my RA…
  • I'm a big fan of working out before work. It sounds terrible, but you'll feel great for the whole day if you workout in the morning - it just gives you so much energy! I just try telling myself that something is better than nothing and try not to do too much if I'm not up for it. Just do what you can to start. It's making…
  • Feel free to add me as well. I just joined and I'm hoping this'll help me actually stay accountable to my goals!
  • I'm also looking for friends here too! I love the social feature, I'm really hoping it'll keep me accountable. I hope it's okay, I added some of you as well. Feel free to add me too

  • I've got a recipe for dumplings at home that I can send you after work - it's made with almond flour, flax seeds, potato starch and parsley so it's pretty healthy and gluten free! They're super easy to make but a little denser than your average dumpling but I think they work quite well.
  • You can add me! I'd love to find some new gluten free/fitness friends. I found out I had celiac about 3.5 years ago and I've been gluten free since then. It's been tough but I feel so much better that it's worth it. Also, when I do eat gluten (accidentally of course) I seem to have flare ups of my rheumatoid arthritis and…
  • I do mine on a rug or on 3-4 layers of yoga mats. Also, there's some ab exercises you can do that don't put quite as much strain on your back/force your back against the ground as much. I've been doing this ab workout every morning (just started 1 week ago): http://petiteathleat.blogspot.com/p/the-300.html - I just do as…
  • I'm in the US but I just joined and I'm looking for friends to keep me motivated and I'd be happy to do the same in return. We can do this
