I have been doing it on and off for 4 months and have lost 18 kgs of mainly fat. The good part is to maintain the losses / benefits you only need to do it once weekly. Have you tried the 5:2 diet? Simply put you eat normal, no need to count calories 5 days a week. Then fast on the other 2 days, but not consecutively. Eg Monday and Thursday. By fasting eat only 500 calories on those 2 days. You will lose pounds every week, more importantly fat not muscle. Yes the body goes into starvation…

Sounds normal when eating less food. For an easy check next time pee or pour your pee near ants if they scamper your all good. If they start drinking it then sugar is present.

Downhill skiers have big butts, hence the squat position does work. The power squat will utilize the glute muscles keeping your knees behind the toes. The Olympic squat knees over toes uses more quad muscles. Have someone watch over you while doing the exercise.

You are a skinny person in a fat body. So why not hit the gym, and begin living as if the body and self are of the same proportion. Because one day they will be. I am obese and fairly old. I gym 4 days a week and have started the fitness trainers course.

Have a look at the 5:2 diet. Restricting yourself to 600 calories one day a week, then eat whatever on the rest.

Think of a time when you had these treats and things went wrong. Instead of thinking how great it feels to eat eventually you will think of the bad experience and even smelling the stuff is a turn off.

Look up Dr Michael Mosley's 5:2 diet. This is devised from a scientific level and also a dietitian. It is a nice change they don't try and flog any powders or bars. Simply provide the real truth.

Soak the oats in boiled water overnight and they are cooked, just add warm or cold milk. I add frozen berries and Greek yoghurt. Its high anti-oxidant low GI and cheap.

Limit your crap foods to one day a week and swap soda for water. Eating processed foods is an unhealthy choice.
