New to all this MFP business!

Hey,
So the long story short is ..
Having hired a personal trainer 4 years ago I know exactly what I should eat and do to lose weight and look good. HOWEVER, I now have a desk job (and 2hr commute on train) and 2 kids which means it's difficult to eat well, burn it off etc etc.
Strange, now I have kids, I have more of a reason to be healthy but less of the energy to do so!
Hoping MFP will help me on my way!

    Are your kids young? I wasn't able to make time for myself until my kids were in school, I think they become a little more independent and friend focused then.

    Stand on the train if possible and take lunch to work.

    Thanks for the tips Andy, I've started taking lunch to work. Quick and simple, it's the snacking I need to stop!
    Not sure about standing, it's a 2 hr journey each way! hahaha

    Yes Cheryl, my kids are 4 and 2 so as much as they keep me on my toes it reduces the amount of time I get to work on 'me'. It's work of family, which is great don't get me wrong but I also need to invest in my health too huh?
