I tried it too.. it didnt work, it didnt bother my stomach, but I did like the taste of the teas. I wouldnt buy it again as a cleanse, but if they sold it in supermarkets as a normal tea at a normal price, I would buy it :)

forget measuring, just drink alot of water :)

Use fresh vegetables, they are much better than frozen. My favorite is roasted broccoli with lemon juice and almonds. Parmesan cheese optional!!

I got Cocotein from GNC. It tastes delicious and has 20g of protein and only 5g of sugar. Its just like coconut water. I drink them in the summer when I dont want really heavy protein shakes.

Theres a website called simple green smoothies. They also have a facebook page.. really good recipes, lots to choose from!!!

That looks really good!

I tried this once. It came out pretty good but I baked it at the wrong temperature so I dont think it was 'crispy' enough. Your pictures are awesome and make me hungry!

Hello I would to join this and connect with 40+ people too! I need to lose about 10lbs. Its all about making small tweaks for me. I work out regularly, eat very healthy but a variety of medications over the past few years packed on 20lbs. Down 10 just by getting off all of those medications. I prefer holistic and natural…

I don't eat any red meat or chicken, so my main sources of protein are: Fish Nuts Yogurt Rice protein powder (vegan) Many vegetables will also add to your protein intake, such as spinach. If you like beans, those are an excellent source also (I can't stand beans so I don't eat them) Doing a search online will give…

YUM! Maybe freezing them is the step I missed last time... the cheese melted out of the coating. Still edible, just messy. Thanks for the recipe!

Im a "pescatarian".. feel free to add me too .. but I dont have much variety in my meals!!

be careful adding yogurt and juice. They can contain a lot of added sugars that you do not need or want. The other thread has a great recipe for a Glowing Green Smoothie... Tons of vegetables, fruit for sweetness...

Heres a short article about the benefits of drinking water... I hope this helps! http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/6-reasons-to-drink-water

From what other posters said, you are definitely not eating enough. The secret to losing weight is eating the right foods.. not just "less" foods. Also, how long have you been on the medication? Is it new? Some of those meds (most of them) have weight gain as a side effect. That could be part of the problem. Examine your…

I cant imagine the reason for your 'sadness', but my suggestion would be to feel thankful that you have found a person you are compatible with, are happy with, can joke around with, and be yourself with. Being thankful always makes me feel better, because when I actually sit back and take a look at all I have around me, I…

I also had a sinus infection, and I did what my body told me to do, which was rest. I finally worked out after four days. Dont work out if you feel weak. Its also not cool to bring germs to the gym...

I googled it, and they suggest using heavy cream as a substitute for 'double cream'. Now, if you were already referring to heavy cream (is 'double cream' the english term for heavy cream?), then I would suggest using half and half.... I never ever use full fat cream in anything...

This sounds awesome.. I have to bookmark this recipe!

I agree with JustANumber85.. buy the stuff that is already ground up.. If you take one of the soy burgers and just mash it up, the taste is different , for whatever reason... Ive used the ground soy to make tacos. Thats about it....

It is definitely worth it! Dont let your friends weight loss impact you at all. Everyone loses weight differently. Your friend might wind up gaining it back while you are taking your time and losing it for good. People only gets one body in this lifetime. Treat yours with respect, love it, feed it good food and be active.…

Im with you OP! Peppermint everything for me too!!

I also do not eat eggs! Sometimes Ill have my protein shake in the morning. I mix either vanilla or chocolate protein powder with reduced fat (or fat free milk), a banana, maybe a tiny bit of peanut butter and a dash of cinnamon. Another good one is vanilla powder, milk, banana and fresh strawberry. If you're feeling…

I would eat these products very sparingly..I know they are tempting; as a non-meat eater for the past 15 years its been great to see all the new choices that have become available. However, these 'healthy' alternatives are mostly chemicals and fillers. I get my protein from seafood and beans. If I had to choose, Id eat…

MFP tells me I am only allowed 38g per day of sugar.. usually that is GONE once I have coffee and yogurt/fruit for breakfast. Anyway, sugar is very detrimental to your weight loss goals.. It hides in places you would never suspect .... My advice is start reading labels on everything, and log all your foods into your MFP…

A couple things - Your yogurt probably has more sugar than protein shakes, so keep an eye on that. If you are buying powder and mixing your own shakes, it could be the milk that is bothering you, assuming you are mixing with milk. I switched to lactose free milk a few years ago and its made a world of difference!!! If its…
