Dublin Ireland, hello everyone
To add a friend click on their name and you will see the option on the right hand side of their photo to send a friend request. You will be given the option to send them a message with the request.
When someone sends you a friend request you will see beside your name at the time of the page a little envelope (that is a notification for incoming mail) and beside that is a icon the shape of a person (depending on how many 1 or 2 or 3 requests that there are outstanding, that number will appear beside that icon) click on it and you will see the request click accept if you so wish.

I have just gone into the app on my phone and I can click on either your name or your photo and your profile comes up giving me the option to add you as a friend?? Would suggest maybe try again. 0
