My youngest daughter is overweight but eats very well balanced meals, while my 5 year old prefers sweets and is a rail. I'm struggling for solutions myself. We drink Crystal Light instead of Kool Aid to decrease calories, but I haven't heard much good about artificial sweeteners either. Good luck!

When the sweet craving hits me, I satisfy it with dried mango. Has the gummy consistency and sweet flavor.

I used to love potatoes and my uncle would always tell me that eating too many potatoes would result in them growing out of my ears. He would pull down on each ear and look inside, saying that I was getting pretty close. I would run to the bathroom after eating them and check in the mirror to see if I had surpassed my…

I have had the Mirena for over 3 years and I rarely get my period. It hurt the day it was placed, but really not much more than monthly cramps. It works for me, but everyone is different. Good luck with whatever you go with!

Unfortunately, yes, to an extent. All I can see is what needs to be changed. I am disgusted by my appearance and try to avoid the mirrors when at all possible. I truly believe that you need to be okay with yourself before you listen to anyone else's opinions. Doesn't matter how many people compliment you; seems irrelevant…

I can totally relate! I struggle with Multiple Sclerosis and Fibromyalgia. My weight seemed to balloon up shortly after I initially got sick and it's been a battle since. I've started and stopped and started and stopped, but I keep picking myself up and re-starting. I'm hoping this time is the one that sticks. I've been…
