Jonathan, I'm in the exact same boat as you. :-( My two best friends moved out of state. Only one really keeps in touch with me meaningfully. My other best friend we had a falling out in Dec 2016. I honestly have no girlfriends besides my out-of-state friend. I don't know how I got to this sad state since I have been…

Skin is very very thin. It is there because there is still fat underneath it. Add weightlifting if you don't do it already. Keep your diet on point. As you lose the fat, it will go down.

Hi, I'm in Seattle working out at LA Fitness in either The Landing in Renton or West Seattle. Let me know if you'd like to meet up. I'd love a workout partner! (My first picture is my goal.) Thanks!
-
I second this! Also, please read "Battlefield of the Mind" by Joyce Meyer.

That sounds just like me! Thanks for sharing!

Start learning when your body is feeling satiated. Eat more slowly. Practice during the week, so when Shabbat rolls around, you're ready.

My son is deaf and emailed Lou Ferrigno about this. He replied! (Well we think it was him  ). He said around 12-13 is fine. Let him do what's comfortable for him. How cool that this is something you all can do together!!!

I found Fitbit HR Charge inaccurate with the steps AND HR. I was "competing" with several city bus drivers who had MASSIVE "steps" in their day. Yeah right. They sat all day! It was the driving that the Fitbit was logging! They'd log like 20-30k steps per day and I was lucky to get 5k with my desk job and some driving…

When I was going through some stressful events, I skipped a period. This may be a stressor for your body, but it will adjust. My weirdness is why is my period suddenly EXTENDING after taking it up several notches at the gym??! :-1:

For me, I get at this HR at just a fast walk. I won't break a sweat like this, not to mention it's boring. I go by how I feel, although I track with a Polar HR strap and watch.

I have no idea why people make their food diaries private. It's not like I can find your location based on it. lol You can see mine and also friend me. I'll be logging more consistently for a 3-month goal of mine.

Many good responses here. I really liked this one and you should see a doctor, if you can. Also, it may be that you've merely become mentally obsessed with food but you can *redirect* your thoughts when this happens. In addition to what people have written here, also try chewing gum when hungry. I find it helps. When I'm…

I'm in Seattle. My first pic is my goal pic. Not me. ;-)

Right now, I'm about 170. :-( I had gotten down to 158 or so. I don't know what the heck happened! Grrr! I'm 5'2.5". I was at 125 in my early 20s, but I was fat at that weight. Literally. Lots of belly fat and fat in the bum and thighs. But now I'm focused on building muscle and not just cardio. I'm also focused not on the…

Chew your food a lot before you swallow. I mean a lot! Eat much more slowly. Chew gum when the desire for sweets strikes you. When the desire to eat comes, drink water, decaf, or tea instead. If you do eat sweets, get something expensive, very rich, and in a small amount. But as has been stated already, don't habitually…

So true! Have a good cry, but tomorrow, take one small step towards something positive towards your goal. Celebrate the small successes. "Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.” Zechariah 4:10

I'm not even sure how this happened but it's hilarious!

If you have it, use it! Just do what you can at the moment. If you keep doing it, you'll get stronger every time. You can always pause the workout if you need a break or if they're going too fast. If it DISCOURAGES you, however, to watch them doing this and that, find something else, then go back to this and retry once in…

Fasting for spiritual reasons is one thing (Christians and Jews do it without harm, but it's usually for ONE day, e.g., Yom Kippur). Also, when I feel like I've eaten something bad or am not feeling well in the belly, I will fast from food but drink lots of water to flush out whatever is in there. Again, one day will…

Here’s an article on loose skin that I found SO interesting from a woman who lost massive weight. In it, she references yet another website too: http://inthefrontofmymind.blogspot.com/2012/01/to-answer-question-of-do-you-have-loose.html

I'm 5'2.5" and about 155 lbs. I know I can be less than 120 though. A number is not my goal but rather a very fit physique. My picture is my goal!!!
