Wow! How beautiful are you?! It's wonderful to see the results of your hard work. I love how you mention that you stay consistent in spite of bad days. You succeeded because time and time again you decided NOT to quit! (Something some of us have resorted to.) Thanks for posting this. All the best to you on your continued…

Hi All. I joined MFP a couple of years ago, did great, then stopped. I've been back for 2+ months and feel so encouraged. I'm in a better place. I'm 52. Feel free to add me. I love to cheer for my MFP friends!

Hi. Our goals and numbers seem similar. Feel free to add me!

Hi. Feel free to add me.

Feel free to add me.

Take one day at a time. When it comes to taking care of myself, I have done well on some days and I have totally blown it on others. And stopped caring. Yet here I am! I know this is where I need to be. Don't give up. Feel free to add me.

Feel free to add me. I love to encourage! Wishing you the best!

Well, I attempted to look for the date of my last weigh in, probably the last Friday in May. I've struggled quite a bit since then. I'm trying not to beat myself up (more than 5x/day). But I'm here!! Last weigh in 153.5 Today 156 2.5 gain Have a good weekend everyone. Hugs.

Wow, I like how this has made me sit and really think about setting concrete goals. 1) 3 pounds by 8/19 and I will be back to me lowest weight since we began this group. 2) 10 pounds in 10 weeks. It's a good, realistic goal. 3) Start walking again, no less than 4x/wk. I'm cheering for every one of you!!

Hi Everyone I can pretty much copy and paste Mirabelle's post! I don't recall how long I'd been gone. Recently started logging again, but I still need to get my mind back in the game. I have eaten poorly and have felt empty. I'm now reading your posts to catch up. I am surprised that we've been together for 13 weeks! I…

I've been missing for quite some time too. I'm just now catching up on my friends' posts and I'm so sorry to read your news. I pray that your family finds peace and that you are each strengthened daily.

Good going! Our emotions sure play such a big role in our efforts here, don't they? I see how you do so well everyday. I'm encouraged by your dedication to yourself and your well-being. I want to be consistent like you! Have a wonderful weekend, my friend.

Hi lindasain. Welcome. Feel free to add me.
-
Oh, and hoovhome, everyone in California is NOT FIT! Not even close.
-
@hoovhome You are more than welcome to join us. LOL! The more the merrier. The weather has been a little hot the past 3 days, but, for the most part, it's really nice. I live about 90 mins from the mountains, and about 60-90 mins from the beach, depending on traffic. (Now THAT is awful here!) I agree with healthymarla.…

You are right, Ladies. This is a special group! We have a common goal, offer each other encouragement and have no need to judge. Mitsi, I struggle with consistency, too, but I have the solution for you: Move out to California and we can find something we both like and workout together!
-
Sorry. I know it's Mitsi. I often misspell it.
-
Hi Misti. I, too, love this group and enjoy participating. I think you have a good idea.

LW 156.5 TW 154 Total 2.5 lb loss Initially I was like, "So what! I gained 3 big ol' lbs last week. This doesn't count." But then I told The Old, Habitual Me to Shut up and give myself some credit! Heck, I lost 2.5 lbs! Lol! Have a great weekend everyone.

Hi Stella I couldn't agree more with the comments above. You are truly lovely and, picture or no picture, that shines through! I know how hard it is to pose for a picture when you're not proud of where you are. A good friend of mine prepaid a photographer to take some photos of my family. That was 18 months ago! I just…

Good for your husband. I wish him the best. Great that you are taking advantage of a situation and using it to start fresh. Best of luck with the eating plan!
-
Hey there, Karen! Thanks for sharing. I'm glad you are feeling so much better. I had a challenging 10 days or so, but I'm here! You, too, are an inspiration.
-
Thank you. Really. I needed that.

Last Week: 154.5 This Week: 156.5 Gained 2 lbs. Surprised? No Hurts? Yes
-
I'm sorry you hadn't been feeling that great. I know that negative feelings have this nasty ability to spiral and make us want to give up (speaking from experience). I also know that you are Amazing and that your kids love it when you're smiling! I'm glad you are back to logging, and I feel blessed to know that my little…

I finally wagged yesterday, and I re-wagged today! Lol
-
Hi lindasain. Welcome back. You did this before so you know how to do it again! I wish you the best. (Feel free to add me.)
-
I'm not surprised that I had a weight gain, but was truly shocked that it wasn't like 4lbs! (But who am I to fight with the scale, right?!) Poor eating and no exercise to speak of. It was bad, I tell you! I am re-motivated and re-committing! One day at a time, one meal at a time. Last week 154 This week 154.5 Maggie

Definitely proud of you, Karee! I know how hard that is to do.
