Not being guilted into spending money on a day invented for that very purpose. Wow, being single sucks.

If you're looking at calories/$, you'd be better off buying a few bottles of cooking oil. If you compared the weight of the McDonalds burger vs the strawberries, the ratio would be vastly improved.

I don't think it's ever possible to overcome it completely, I've made peace that it'll probably be a lifelong struggle for me. In a way, I think it's worse than a drug or alcohol addiction, at least those you can go cold turkey with.

Ugh, where to start. Hands, nose, mouth, the whole 'face area' in general, hair. I could go on naming individual bodyparts, but let's just say I love pretty much every part of me.

Hate to say this, but at 5ft, 2lb/week is way too fast.

You might want to have a look at intermittent fasting, I routinely go 16 - 20 hours without food and would never cosider myself 'hungry'. The hunger you feel is more likely a combination of hormones, habit and psychological. Genuine hunger would take a lot longer than 7 hours to set in.

This may sound weird, but I refuse to go without broccoli. It's up there with all my binge foods. I absolutely love it. I eat between 1kg - 1.5kg of the stuff a day.

Been doing it for about 3 years now. Most days I only have one meal, some time between 18:00 and 23:00. It works great for me since smaller meals just aren't as satiating for me.

First off, the plateau is a good thing. It means what you're doing's having an effect on your body. It's becoming more efficient, unfortunately, this means you're burning less calories with everything you do. Unfortunately, the plateau also means your deficit isn't big enough to notice weight loss. I'd say, either lower…

I struggle with the exact same thing on my days off. I've basically got too much time and I invariably start thinking about food. I'd suggest finding a hobby, anything that you can look forward to and will keep you occupied for a few hours. Hiking, running etc etc.

I can say a lot about this subject, most of it from experience. IMO, any overeating is emotional. I personally overeat when I'm bored and- or unhappy, be it an inherent unhappiness with my life or a sudden event, my first thoughts always turn to food. The boredom thing I've gotten under control by just keeping myself…

What really helped me was breaking it down logically. A) Alcohol doesn't taste all that nice B) I was only drinking it out of peer pressure C) I don't like the feeling of 'memory loss' or not being in control of all my faculties D) I hate being hungover A and B are generally enough to stop me touching the stuff

I too am addicted to food, hence why I never have more food in the house than I should eat in a day. An appropriate, one-off reaction might be to just trash the food. Theatrically throw the whole thing in the bin so he can actually see how serious you are about not wanting it.

I've been yoyoing for over 3 years now and think I've finally figured it out. Feel free to PM me with questions if you need any help/advice

I look at myself in the mirror while flexing, that should be enough. And to OP: Serious as a heart attack
