I addressed this above. I felt it would be supportive of everyone to keep the fun and games, to the fun and games. Obviously people can't handle it. I'm done with the community portion, thank you.
-
Because there's a community on here to support others. I'm just staying off the forums from now on, sheesh.
-
I wasn't trolling with this post, I was being serious.
-
Or maybe I should realize that people on this site are just as immature as on other sites. Thanks for pointing that out, everyone!

Come on, I'm really not being unreasonable here. There's really no need to be rude about it. Just trying to help everyone out. This site isn't just some stupid social media site, this is for helping others and helping ourselves. I'm not saying don't do it at all, and I know that won't happen.

Let's help and be supportive here. Sometimes people with more weight to lose need a little push in the beginning, and then they can gradually build in healthier, long term options. Not all of us can post the rock hard abs in the mirror picture quite yet. Way to go, OP!

There's ways to be nice about it. I'm proud of your food choices, but I hope your coworkers don't think of you as "that jerk who won't even eat a cookie once in a while".

"No thanks, I brought my own snacks today!"

Awesome job!
-
I wish I weighed what you've lost! Dang girl, keep up the GREAT work!

What about deviled eggs, with some relish and mustard? Couldn't be too bad, right?

Oh, and why not try to get a job at a grocery store or Subway? That way you could have a job, get out of the house, and maybe get discounts on healthy food. I know at some Subways you get a free 6 inch sub on your shift.

I have very religious parents, but never once did they question my going for a walk. Have you considered that stress may be keeping your weight from dropping? Excess levels of cortisol, and all that? Why don't you invite someone to go with you, so they can see that you're just doing it to be healthy, and not pick up the…

My calorie intake that's listed on MFP recommends about 1450. It really isn't all that bad. The key is LOTS of water, and eating really nutritious foods. Sure, I could get 200 calories from a donut, but I'll be a ravenous monster in an hour. But, 200 calories of lettuce or broccoli is going to stuff me to the gills, and…

It really does depend on the manufacturer. I used to work at Aeropostale, and they told us that the jeans there were more fitted for preteen girls - no curves or anything. So, women with curves had to go up several sizes or not wear the jeans there. Just food for thought - just check out what target the store or brand is…

Eat, drink, and be merry! Meaning...up your calorie intake. Drink more water. And be merry - quit worrying about numbers so much! It's the health and fitness that matters. 150 isn't Satan's number or anything like that, so relax.

Unfortunately I don't believe thinking IS all the rage. So few people actually do it now.
-
Is this to make me lose my appetite every morning? lol

J.K. Rowling has a quote that's something like "Rock bottom became the foundation on which I built my life." Gotta start somewhere! You can do it!

WOW WOW WOW!

Stop and think about it - did you want to eat those items BEFORE you saw them? Or did you just want them because they're there? If you've been craving one of those specific items, have a little piece. But if not, you're probably just responding to the fact that food is available.

Right now I'm focused mainly on calories, but I want to start getting into the exercise portion as well. Things are a bit rough right now because I recently got a new job, so I'm trying to sort all that out.
-
I'd like to be at least well on my way. I know that's a good chunk of weight to lose. I'd rather do everything in a healthy way, but at least a good bit off would help, you know?
-
Daaaaaaang girl! You are rockin' it!

Try only eating treats that are specific to the holiday season, since all the other ones aren't really special because you can get them any time.

I've trained for a half marathon before, and they will tell you rest days are very important. You muscles need to recover and build. It's in the building that you make progress. Now, that doesn't mean be a slob on your rest day. Maybe just change it up a little.

Also, weight loss is incredibly personal. Someone critiquing my food, in all honestly, will make me want to get seconds. *I* have to decide what goes in my mouth and no one else. Depending on someone else to say my food is wrong or there's too much will get me nowhere. If I am educated on what I should eat, then it's all…

This is just so yes.

I don't see the point in having it open. Who cares? Eat your own dang food.

Don't play ball for that team, sorry! But she looks lovely. lol
