I'm a big tuna fan so I like tuna with tobasco sauce on it and I eat it before I work out not after. It gives your body fuel for the work out. This will usually carry you through till your next meal.

Just had half an avacado sliced and topped with a big slice of tomato and freshly ground black pepper on 2 slices of Sara Lee 45 calorie bread.

Nice going!

Can't beat a Jack Daniels and Coke-Zero! For beer, Budweiser Select is a nice option.

The rule of thumb I go by personally is if you're hungry eat and if you're not, don't eat. There is nothing to be gained by eating when you're not hungry.

Yup, works for me too!

Well, considering you still have 366 calories left for the day I wouldn't be too concerned about it. I'd try to fill in the day with sensible choices and keep marching on. It really isn't all that bad.

I find if after you brown and drain the meat of choice you can add 1/4 cup of chopped jalepenos, 1/4 cup of diced green or red pepper, 1/4 cup of minced onion, 2 tblsp of garlic, 1/4 cup of fresh chopped cilantro and 2 cups of diced tomatoes and a teaspoon of tabasco sauce. Add together in pan with meat and heat…

I bought the Reli-On meter at Walmart for $16.24 and for 50 test strips it's $9.00.

This is how I personally handle exercise calories. The question you ask yourself would be "Am I still hungry?" If so, I would eat whatever amount of those calories you have left over that it would take to satisfy you. If you're not hungry I wouldn't bother. And yes, you likely would lose weight faster as you are still…

That's the beauty of MFP, it's not a diet like weight watchers but more of an informed consent menu plan. You eat what you want as long as it fits in the total caloric intake for the day. It allows you to monitor what needs to be monitered for each individual. I've found since I've been on MFP it's helped me a lot in…

Being rude and ignorant towards one another seems to becoming commonplace nowadays. I have heard and read things coming out of peoples mouths that when I was young would have gotten my mouth washed out with soap! ( I never pushed that threat with my mother when I was young! )

Assuming you have no health concerns and are not dieting you could look at your local Walmart for their clearance bake good rack where you can pick up a decent selection of food at reduced or clearance prices. Don't count out your Ramen noodles so quickly either. As Ramen noodles now come in many flavors you can adjust the…

Even diet coke adds to your overall liquid intake for the day so I'd keep track of it in the water intake category.

Yikes! May want to get a professional second opinion on that diet. Any diet that requires me to inject myself with a needle each day I would run from so fast I wouldn't need a diet!

You might like this one. http://www.food.com/recipe/low-calorie-low-fat-thin-pizza-crust-365430 It calls for a bread machine to do the work but can be easily done by hand.

Yum, sounds great. I'm going to try that.

My favorite is 1/2 cup Great Value 100% whole grain quick oats, 1 cup water as per directions. Then after it is cooked I add 2 tablespoons of Smuckers sugar free peach preserves and a Del Monte diced no sugar added peach fruit cup. I add a little cinnamon and it comes out tasting a little like a peach cobbler.

I got the same way when I was in the hospital having my bypass surgery and they gave me a small bottle of prune juice each morning. Worked like a charm.

Excellent point! I too watched my mother and then my father slowly fall into ill health. Diabetes, HBP, kidney disease and heart disease ran rampant through my family on both sides. Unfortunately, I have acquired all of these with quadruple bypass the most recent instance. Since starting a healthier lifestyle I have my…

I have found that when your body goes into "starvation mode" you will see a difference in how much energy you have, the feeling of sluggishness, tired, lethargic and in some cases you might notice a cramping in your larger muscle groups. The reason you need to make sure you don't deprive your body of the proper intake is…

"Drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of fluid a day," because all fluids count toward the daily total. This is according to the Moyo Clinic. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/water/NU00283

hahaha, now that's funny! Does inhaling your food provide better results than ingesting? I so know how you felt. I'm afraid to start eating fast food again as I'm sure I would be arrested for causing a disturbance at the drive through! I can hear the call to the police now, "Yes, Id like to report a crazy guy at the drive…

From a male standpoint, I couldn't imagine saying those words to anyone. I guess what you really have to ask yourself is this something you're willing to tolerate long term? I would think that being treated like that certainly will take its toll on your personal confidence level in all aspects of your life.
