  • always looking for friends who are supportive and that i can support!!! very active MFP and have a open food diary. I have about 30 lbs left to loose, love my elliptical, just started running with C25K, and am doing strength training.
  • that is me... i am about the pickiest eater there is... and i love mexican... it is still a huge staple in my diet... i have just learned to make thing healthier... i eat the veggies i do like... which is only cucumbers and tomatoes but that is my lunch with a cup of greek yogurt (which i hate plain) with some fiesta ranch…
  • for me it is the 100 cal pack of chocolate covered pretzels... they hit the spot when i am craving something sweet !!! i keep a pack on me when i go out so i am not tempted by candy... forgot them when i went to the movies this weekend and paid for it lol...
  • no go for it... i just hit 199 and am 5'9 and started C25K ... i am 3 days in and loving it. my knees were what i was worried about as i have tried jogging before and killed my knees. I am not having that problem. It is hard and a great challenge but i am doing it!!!

  • so glad i found this information... I am starting W1D1 tonight with my 15 yr old daughter! always been a dream to run a 5k but with the extra weight it killed my knees. So know that i am down the 80 lbs i feel like this is the time ;-)

  • same here... i am always over on sugar do to fruits but have lost 80 lbs since january so figure it is not a bad thing!
  • i just added two pictures from when i was at my heaviest... i have one on my phone that my daughter took but can't figure how to get it out of the text... i will have to take one this weekend and add it ;-) i still don't like the pictures of me but i don't cry any more!

  • i use alittle taco seasoning (mine homemade so less salt) and a little lime juice if on hand the kids love it... also started using a old fashioned potato masher to mix it up makes it so easy...

  • if you are looking for heavy lifting i am not an expert but i can tell you what i am doing, that i love it and am seeing great results. New rules of lifting for women... it has a roughly 6 month program in there and you can start as low weight as you need.

  • totally agree!!! deadlifted 110 for the first time yesterday and felt so good afterward but hated it while doing it! although maybe they will grow on me... i am new to heavy lifting and have just started 6 weeks ago ;-)
  • I just bought the Polar FT 4. I LOVE it. It has made all the differance in the world. It tells me how many calories i have burned and how hard my heart rate is getting. i bought it for like 70 dollars. would definitely recommend it. the chest strap i was worried about but i don't even know it is there.
