Sorry for the lack of updates...been a busy month. However, I am only one run off of my goal for the month:

Sorry for the lack of updates, had a few races and school is starting soon! Still on track for my goal.
-
I also find it annoying..but it's a part of running and always will be. Get over it, or get in line early and lead the line. My gun time and chip time weren't significantly far off this last weekend in a 1600 runner race where I was forced in the middle of the pack.

Hey, there's plenty of us out here. I'm 22, but still have another 1.5 years or so left because I am a double major and took a couple of semesters off. Feel free to add me, I'm a big time runner.

115 miles this month please.

Goal met:

Whoops same here.

Welcome. 22/double major here. I have another couple of years left with my double, so I understand how rough it is. Feel free to add me, I'm a big time runner.
-
Welcome back. There's plenty of support on here for you. Plus lots of us are college aged and understand the struggle that is on campus eating!
-
Sorry I was out of the country the first week of July. Can you guys put me down for 60 miles this month?
-
bump

Feel free to add. I do 5Ks weekly training wise. I'm currently on the path to a 12 miler in August and a half marathon come October. I run 4-6 times a week and am always around to ask questions to.

Welcome! There's plenty of us here, I'm 22 myself. Find the routine that works best for you and feel free to ask us any questions.

Uncomfortable.

I'm a 22 year old college guy (who also works full time). I am an avid runner and training for a 12 miler in a month and my first half come October. Feel free to add me anyone..especially runners.

Hey there, 22 year old college kid here. I'm a double major hence the still being in college. I'm a pretty big runner (minus last week when I was out of the country.) I drink socially..you just need to learn to fit it in your macros since it's an empty calories source. If I know we're going out for a buddy's birthday I…

5'10" and 165...I eat at 1670 a day pre exercise and many a time struggle to go to it. If oyu are clean eating and eating the right things...this a pretty steady amount.
-
Only 1.5 miles until I reach my goal...aka tomorrow. Can't wait for a high goal next month. Good work everyone.

10 miles to go:
-
Should be able to get this!
-
Feel free to add me. Training for a 12 miler in august and a half marathon in October.
-
22 here, big runner.
-
Another 6.37 miles puts me at halfway

As for training..if you are a slower runner...use a basic program for "Finishing" a marathon and don't focus so much on time. They range from 50-200 dollars, most being around the $100 mark here in Maryland. It's all about steady increasing your run distances. Runs can be found on active.com and similar sites.
-
Any of you can feel free to add. I am starting to train for my first ever half marathon in October with a goal of 2:30 or less.
-
Good luck with your transformation. I'm actually not far away up in Towson.
-
Hey Annie, not a chick...but I am a pretty avid runner and also in college. Running is probably one of the best ways to see results when trying to drop some weight. I am currently training for a half marathon in October. Feel free to add.
