  • I actually don’t eat back any of my exercise calories, I don’t log them..I guess maybe I should..& honestly no I have not enjoyed the keto way of eating..I only chose it to give it a shot and see if it was something I had better luck with..I never allowed myself potatoes, and I used to love wraps and sandwiches (whole…
  • I’ve been sticking with the basics food wise...eggs, meat, vegetables..I cut out starches and fruits, no sugar..anything I would need sweetened I use swerve sweetener...I don’t know, is there such thing as being TOO restrictive on carbs? 🤷‍♀️
  • Yes, I’ve been using a scale..I have literally been weighing and measuring everything I eat for the last 3 months, & all I drink is water besides my coffee in the morning, and I don’t even use sugar in that anymore
  • I'm still restricting calories too, not just focusing on the carbs alone..but any other weight loss strategy I have tried in the past like just calorie counting and eating healthier, it didn't work for me. I noticed about a year ago when I got put on metformin and started paying more attention to my sugar and carb intake,…
  • Florida =)
  • I took my state exam last year and was incredibly nervous about it, and I ended up being more prepared than I thought I was. As long as you're confident and feel you're prepared, you'll do fine. However, as silly as it sounds, dont forget the basics... when I took my exam there were a lot of people that actually didnt pass…
  • Thanks everyone! This was helpful =)
  • Thanks everyone for you're advice! =)
  • Edward, books and movies.... cant wait till November to see the new one =)
  • I have my calories set at 1450 right now. I usually have coffee, bagel, and walnuts in the morning... then a lean cuisine type meal for lunch, and then supper varies and isnt always super healthy, but I watch my portions on that... snacks are usually either pita crisps or a granola bar, something like that, and I drink…
  • I agree , its not a pic of him so I dont see why he's making a fuss over it... Honestly I think its pretty aweful that he would react that way about it. I think you've accomplished a lot losing all that weight and if want to take pics of your accomplishment, you should!
  • I wouldnt lower your calorie intake.. your body needs 1200 calories a day, if you go any lower than that, your body goes into starvation mode and you wont lose anything because your bodys holding onto it for energy... If your only eating 1200 calories a day and are working out, make sure you're at least eating back those…
  • If its stuff that I do everyday, I dont log it, because when you set up your account and it asks how active you are, I already factor in how much cleaning and such I do, and my usual shopping, etc... If its like, extreme cleaning, or something like that thats out of my norm, then I do log it, but I try and subtract the…
  • You should go by your measurements more than the scale, and also judge by how your clothes are fitting you... thats a better way to tell if you're losing or not. Dont focus too much on the numbers on the scale because it can be discouraging... as long as you're not gaining, thats a good thing. I would definately not…
  • Thanks! =)
  • Thanks everyone! I cant drink coffee without the cream and sugar yet, but I use way less than I used to and always measure it so it usually ends up being around 100 calories... gradually using less though. Thanks for all your input! Glad I dont have to give up my coffee...Id be one cranky person if I did! lol =)
  • Im in! I have the same problem.. I do good for about a week, MAYBE 2, but then I fall off the wagon! Its always worst on the weekends... and Im an emotional eater and things are always stressful so I end up eating constantly and sometimes I dont even realize Im doing it! Everyday I say Im going to excercise, but then I…
  • I got mine from the Walmart website for $25, its a Taylor brand digital, and EXTREMELY accurrate! Id stay away from the Health-o-meter brand though.. my experience with those they are always off, and they didnt get good reviews either...
  • I have that same problem if I eat or drink a lot right before a workout... I've noticed I have to give myself at least 1 &1/2 hours after a meal before I can exercise or it makes me extremely nauseous...same thing if I drink like, a whole bottle of water before I exercise, it will make me feel sick...
  • well, I was actually in the same situation (still am kinda)... I am a server also, and I HATE the company i work for... they do not care about their employees at all. About a year ago I was so fed up (plus the added stress of things outside of work) that one night I simply didnt go in. I didnt think it would be too hard to…
  • wow, thats amazing! That gave me some MUCH needed motivation, Thank you =)
  • I Just started the 30 Day Shred today, hoping I can stick with it the full 30 days this time! =)
  • I stay away from artificial sweeteners... from everything I've read about them, they are no good for you. They make me sick anyway (literally) so I cant eat or drink anything that has aspartame in it. If you're going to drink Crystal Light, you should try the Crystal Light Pure Fitness... it gives your water flavor but has…
  • Stevia is actually a natural sweetner because it comes from a plant, whereas splenda is an artificial sweetner... I stay away from artificial sweetners. My body cant tollerate them and it makes me sick, but from all the reading I've done on them I also dont think artificial sweetners are very good for you either... but,…
  • I cant use Crystal light either... Aspartame makes me sick (literally), but Crystal light does have the Pure Fitness now that doesnt contain the artificial sweetners (if thats what bothers your stomach) ... you could always just start adding water to what you normally drink, and each day gradually add more water ..…
  • Dont get discouraged... All people are different and lose weight differently. I just started again with trying to be healthy and lose all this extra weight after many failed attempts and have lost 6 lbs so far, and I do feel a tad bit different as far as having a bit more energy, but other than that, no change... my…
