  • Down from 38 to 20! Talking to a professional has really helped me over the past 6 months. The hardest thing has been letting go of obsessively eating the 'right' foods with the ever increasing need to attain the perfect diet, as any small slip ups has resulted in feelings of failure, which then fuelled the desire to…
  • This is really nice to see that someone managed to overcome bingeing and managed the weight loss journey too! I am trying to fix the binge-eating issue at the moment, so trying not track and just stick to whole foods (3 days so far). When did you decide you would be able to start tracking again without it triggering?
  • Frozen grapes. They did not taste like sweets, they were incredibly hard. Cottage cheese
  • A bit late to this but I really want to get back on track! SW: 158 CW: 154.3 GW: 149.3 Weigh in Dates: Start of Month (11/01 Saturday): 11/08 Sat: 154.3 11/15 Sat: 11/22 Sat: 11/29 Sat: End of Month (11/30 Sunday): Total weight lost:
  • Get a foam roller! And look up glute med stretches/piriformis stretching on youtube, it does help but you have to stick to it, even though its a literal pain the ***. I had this problem too and stopped running for a while, did stationary bike at the gym for my cardio and slowly slowly building up my running again.
  • Its not a crash program, but I would ask what your current fitness ability is? A few people have found it tough on the knees. It's harder than the 30 day shred, so I would recommend actually doing that workout before RI30.
  • Er my technique is a bit weird, but it makes me run faster and I enjoy it a lot more! If I see another runner, I like to pretend I am chasing them lol! (Don't actually follow them home though or get super close or you may be labelled as a stalker) Seriously, it makes the time fly by, just pick someone at a suitable…
  • Yeah I don't mind taking a slightly more lax approach this time, I actually think it might help in completing it! I just liked it when we were all like 'workout done!' and could talk about it :flowerforyou: Also I saw you are still losing, so well done on that aspect!
  • I love it! Not just because thighs are my problem area but I really like Jillian in this video and its a fun workout. I burn 550-600 cals doing level 1 and 2 back to back, I think it was 290 for level 1 and 350 for level 2 (based on 5'4'' and 151 lbs).
  • I like to look back at it! And at the moment I pick a random day from the list and then do that workout haha :)
  • Does it still count if I combine some of the walks? So do 1hr for one of the days? Just that there aren't enough days this week lol!
  • I saw that too! Have you seen blogilates' burpee challenge? Its a pyramid workout, so you do 1 kettlebell swing + 1 burpee, then increase by 1 until you get to 15 swings and 15 burpees, then all the way back down to 1! I'll attempt it when I'm feeling brave.…
  • Fitness test results: Jumping jacks - 67 Press ups - 17 Sit ups - 17 Burpees - 15 Squats - 26 Measurements: Bust:36/37 Waist: 29 Hips 38 Thighs 24 Weight was 151, but just had a blowout weekend for my birthday, I don't want to look! I'll weigh myself in a couple of days :)
  • I had this the other day, I normally drink a lot of water, and in the heatwave we've been having, I always carry water on me. Yet I felt dizzy on the tube despite staying hydrated. What had actually happened was that I had drunk so much it flushed out all my electrolytes - I bought some coconut water and even though I hate…
  • Hello I'm Anna :) I put the weight on last year during my final undergraduate exams - don't have time to exercise, need to study! Whilst I got the exam results I wanted I hated my graduation photos so so much. Trying to lose about 15 lb, but I seem to be stuck at 149-151 for ages. I just tend to get fed up about the lack…
  • I agree with the previous posts, you definitely need to slow down! I did C25K, and now at 30 minutes I run at a pace of 5.5mph. Running is all about sustained cardio, so you need to build up your endurance. What week of C25K are you on? Just stick with it, slow down until you can finish the assigned run, then repeat that…
  • I have fallen off the big bang theory wagon too, I don't like it now that its changed! I never ever reveal the full extent of my nerd/geekiness to others so here goes: -studying for a PhD in Chemistry -write python code in my spare time, and going to learn other computer codes after this - next on the list is probably Java…
  • I'm 22, doing a PhD in chemistry. Feel free to add me too!
  • Good luck for insanity! I have unfortunately given up on this plan too, but am re-doing 30 day shred instead! On day 4 now, its easier to commit to with the shorter workouts haha :)
  • This is a good thread! I know accountability blah blah but the shame probably overrides on this one. 2 eggs pepper 10 biscuits cake bar 2 slices of cake noodles grapes all at lunchtime. For me stress = binge, and I'm very stressed atm with my thesis due!
  • I'm starting over too, just had a week off and I don't think I could go straight back into week 3/4! Day 1 done :)
  • Yeah I thought the same thing, but its definitely possible. On the podcast Laura tells you that it's a mental thing, and that she's going to guide you through it. And she's right, just believe that you can do it, but take it at a slower pace to make sure that you complete it. If you get tired, just reduce your pace - you…
  • It's way too hot here to work out :( I tried to do NMTZ today, and the heat was so unbearable, i only made it through half of the first circuit. I'll try again later today :grumble:
  • This fitblogger did insanity http://funeralformyfat.tumblr.com/Insanity%20Results and if you search insanity results tumblr you get this page come up http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/insanity%20results
  • Ooh have a fab holiday! And those are great changes in measurements  I have managed to do the workouts, but its more out of guilt, I had a 3 day binge that finished the day before yesterday, so its the only thing that has stopped me feeling terrible. I'm on day 18 (I think, I know NMTZ is scheduled for today) but I…
  • Shred 1 and 2 done. All I can hear in my head is 'squat and press' 'squat and press' and 'plank plank plank plankety plank'. Actually looking forward to BFBM!
  • Hm I think I would probably encourage them to eat more so that I looked better! (just joking  )
  • Banish fat boost metabolism - mainly cardio, I also like killer buns and thighs!
