I wear a heart rate monitor to get the calories burned and then created my own entry of C25K.

Couch to 5K (C25K) is a great app if you have a smartphone. It tells you when to walk and when to run. It is a 9 week program that you do 3 days a week. It is a great workout!

You can bake your homemade egg rolls as well and they still come out nice and crispy! I love them that way!

I love when my husband goes to the gym with me, which is hardly never. Maybe your GF would work out in the girls room (some gyms have those). Or, maybe she would be on the treadmill while you are lifting weights and then you would still have your alone time, but yet it would give you even more in common. Maybe you should…

I am going to try this too. Are you set at a 1 pound week weight loss to get your starting numbers? If I use a one pound week weight loss and use this method, it gives me my max def number of 900 calories.

Scallops do not take too long to cook, so just cook them on the grill, don't precook them. I would skewer some veggies on separate sticks and cook them longer, then add your skewers of scallops on the grill when the veggies are pretty much ready. I would go about 4 minutes each side for the scallops to be done! Good luck…

I cannot give you scientific data either, sorry. But after reading so many different opinions on here, I do backout my "living burn" calories out of the number on my HRM for every workout. I battle with all those questions, the correct calorie burn, how many calories to eat, should I go with the Harris-Benedict equation…

I love pear and gorgonzola salad too, but I make my own!

It sounds like you need to increase your calorie intake. I know that sounds not right, but it is true.

I wish I had something helpful to say to you! I am not familiar with that workout at all, but you always work hard and eat healthy, so I hope someone on here has the advice you seek!

I love the shred!! I am on level 3 day 3. I don't do it every day so it has taken me a little over a month to get to this level, but I do love the workout! I know I have lost inches around my waist, but I am waiting until the end to do all my measurements. It definitely does work! I bought mine at Target for $9.99. Go get…

I understand completely! Ihave been doing this since January and only down 6 pounds, which I am happy about, but not quite satisfied. I was actually just thinking about upping calories by about 10% to see if that will promote a change. I also work from home and sit all day. I am set at sedentary and 1200 calories, and I…
