@crystal, I felt the same. I just started level 3 today but with my orthopedic issues I don't think I can do it for the full benefit. I was thinking of going back to level 1 or level 2 as well. I was very disappointed when I attempted it today. Plyometrics are not my friend and I know my physical therapist said, "Not now.…

My fitbit one keeps me moving. 5 miles a day and 10k steps is my goal! If I dont hit that I know I didnt move enought. My HRM is for cardio exercise but Fitbit one is my life line for movement.

I just finished level 2 this evening. I'm currently 232 but I started it in my 240s. I'm a computer gamer so I do it after work and before I get involved with the computer. I usually get home, work out, shower, make dinner and etc. It is very doable but do not be hard on urself. I have orthopedic issues and I do the…

I change my weights depending on the exercise. Anything with back or biceps = 5lbs. Shoulders are 3 lbs. I just finished level 2 this evening and prettying much thats what I used throughout. I will admit though when I started level 1 it was straight 2 lbs. Shoulders are killers!

I'm on Day 9 Level 2. Funny thing happened yesterday: So I developed some knee pain and the doc sent me to physical therapy. Guess what? I haven't been doing the squats correctly! So last night, I did them a bit slower with better form and hello quads and hamstrings! I also did the chair squats with the v lifts against the…

@canderson- Jullian Michaels put out a system of discs called 30 Day Shred. There are 3 levels and the idea is each level is done for 10 days before you progress to the next. roughly lasts 25 min per workout. Can be very challenging with results. I believe someone mentioned you can find it on youtube if you want to check…

Just got through Day 2 of Level 2. I actually think I like it more than Level 1. It has more challenges but with my ortho issues I think its easier for me to non-modify. Also I upped my weights to 3 and 5 lbs. Calorie burn was higher. @skinny- Thanks again! You are prob right and I am modifying. I'm actually going to a PT…

Weight Watchers 5x- lost 70lbs- gained it all back and then some. Jenny Craigs 1x - worked well....actually lost weight and my hair along the way. My body went into starvation mode. Atkins x1 Slimfast x 3 so far, THIS is working for my perfectly. I'm learning healthy ways of eating, about my daily intake and how exercise…

@skinny, thanks! I will take a look at it. My HRM usually puts me at about 180 cals. Perhaps its correct after all. lol Let me know how you do!

Don't be discouraged! This site and plan is easy to use but it seems, like the other responders have mentioned, your diary is all over the place. You should be logging all your food in and eating within your allotted calories. You can eat more food mentioned if you eat back your exercise calories. Making good food choices…

just finished my 10th day of disc 1. I start disc 2 tomorrow. So far I have lost 2 inches from my chest, 1 from waist, 1 from hip and 2 from arms. (i forgot to measure my hips). It has been super challenging in regards to cardio since I have a boat load of orthopedic issues including a knee and ankle all on one leg. I am…

I did a lot of research and I decided on the Fitbit One and have been using it for about a month now. I really like it. My reasoning over the Fitbit Flex is that my arms are not always moving especially if I am carrying something or biking. With the One, I clip i on my bra and leave it there. If I bike, I clip it to my…

36, no kids, no BF at the moment either. Always feel like the odd man out. On the flip side, I see people who are married with kids ,OR single with kids, and look so much older than me! They are always amazed when I tell them I am not in my 20s. My response, " I'm still a kid." lol I would live to get married and start a…

hI! Don't tell but I'm raiding as I type this! 523i Mage on Stormrage named Avvalynna. I even livestream and have a youtube channel. One rule I cannot break: NO WOW UNTIL I'M DONE WITH MY WORKOUT! Game is addicting and time sink. Whats great is playing wow afterwards is like my rest period. Anyone out there on Stormrage?

It's funny that you posted this. I had a similar conversation last night with someone. I'm down 25lbs but see no difference. I have 3 photos and I tried to compare them and they all look the same. I finally asked someone and they thought I was nuts and then told me I looked less bulky... Doesn't boost the self confidence…
